Britney Spears And Justin Bieber Show Their Hearts

Celebs like Britney Spears, Justin Bieber and Lady Gaga are proving that the power of Twitter can be used not just for fun trending topics but for good.
On Wednesday, Spears Tweeted the above pic of herself with the message, "Change your profile picture today & make sure to #showyourhearts." She is currently touring for Femme Fetale.
The reference is to a campaign for the Berry children -- three children who survived a car crash in Texas on July 3. The head-on crash killed their parents, Joshua and Robin. Brothers Peter, 9, and Aaron, 9 were paralyzed and are still in the hospital. Sister Willa, 6, suffered broken bones.
Now, celebs are getting behind the campaign for people to change their social media profile pictures to reflect the campaign, and to donate at showyourhearts.org or via text message (text BERRY to 85944 to donate $10.)
Since Tuesday, avid Twitter-er Bieber has Tweeted or re-Tweeted more than 50 messages about the cause.
Other celebs to Tweet about Berry kids include Ryan Seacrest, Diddy, Kim Kardashian, The Jonas Brothers, Nick Lachey, Katy Perry, Khloe Kardashian, Lady Gaga and more.

That's very thoughtful of them. I'm sure they've both made some very nice donations to the cause, and simply not broadcasting it, which is what most celebs do. I commend them for putting the cause first, and thinking of those poor little kids instead patting themselves on the back for helping them.

The idea is to draw attention to the cause, without drawing attention to themselves, or patting themselves on the backs for the lge amounts they're able to give. Most celebs don't mention the amounts they donate, and many of them don't bother to speak out at all for causes they choose to help. Not everyone enjoys the attention people like Jolie & pitt seem to thrive on. For those knocking Britney, I think she looks very cute in the pic., not old at all. Notice how Pitt & Jolie fans tend to pick at(not just Jennifer)but everyone else. (lol)
