Justin Bieber Sweeps The 40th Annual American Music Awards

Justin Bieber swept the 2012 American Music Awards tonight, taking top categories Artist of the Year, Best Pop/Rock Male Artist and Best Pop/Rock Album.
Katy Perry was his female counterpart in the Pop/Rock category, while maroon 5 won for best Pop/Rock group.
Everyone's favorite scorned lover, Taylor Swift, took the prize for Best Country Female Artist, while Luke Bryan took the male award.
Nicki Minaj was the only artist besides Beiber to win more than one award -- she took Best Rap/Hip-Hop Aritst and Best Rap/Hip-Hop Album for Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded.
Beyonce and Usher won the prizes for Best Soul/R&B Artists and Rihanna won Best Soul/R&B Album for Talk That Talk.
