On Saturday X17 photographers snapped the rapper leaving the boxing gym, and yet AGAIN he was wearing his Confederate flag jacket. West opened a pop up store for his Yeezus tour gear next to the Kardashian's Dash store on Melrose last week, and after the media first caught wind of the offensive symbol emblazoned on his merchandise, he attempted to explain himself.
“React how you want," he told LA's AMP Radio. "Any energy you got is good energy. You know the confederate flag represented slavery in a way -- that's my abstract take on what I know about it. So I made the song 'New Slaves.' So I took the Confederate flag and made it my flag. It's my flag now. Now what are you going to do?”
