Stars Come Together For "We Are The World"

Celine Dion, Kanye West, Usher, Enrique Iglesias, Keith Urban, Nicole Scherzinger, Josh Groban, Barbra Streisand and many others came out yesterday to Jim Henson Recording Studios on La Brea to do a remake of the 1985 all-star hit "We Are The World."
The original recording featured Michael Jackson, Lionel Richie, Tina Turner, Stevie Wonder, Diana Ross, Billy Joel and Willie Nelson among others, and it was produced by Quincy Jones, who also organized the gathering yesterday. The first recording raised $63 million, so here's to hoping the remake will be able to double or triple that number for fundraising efforts for Haiti.
The new version will premiere on February 12 during the opening ceremonies of the 2010 Winter Olympics on NBC.
