Two days after J.R. Martinez took home the mirror ball trophy, the Dancing With the Stars champ and professional partner Karina Smirnoff are still celebrating!

The duo, proudly displaying their glitzy trophy, headed to New York for a special appearance on Good Morning America.

Martinez, an Iraq war veteran, discussed the suspenseful DWTS finale. He told the GMA audience:

"I said to Karina … 'Can they just tell us already?' It seemed like the moment was just lasting forever when they were building up the suspense. It's amazing. We've all been putting over three months of work into this. To be able to hold that [mirror ball trophy] up was a tremendous honor."

This is Karina's first win after being a part of DWTS for ten seasons. She definitely deserves it!

Rob Kardashian took second place and talk show host Ricki Lake finished in third.

Karina Smirnoff and her pro baseball player beau Brad Penny have decided to postpone their wedding, according to Us Weekly.

A source close to the couple tells the mag, "They are still together, but have conflicting schedules."

Back in June Smirnoff gushed that the duo would be walking down the aisle this January in Cozumel, Mexico, and they are said to be looking into possible new dates, according to E! Online.

Smirnoff and Penny announced their engagement last November, just months after she split from fellow Dancing with the Stars pro Maksim Chmerkovskiy.

Petra Nemcova is the latest celebrity to be eliminated from ABC's Dancing With the Stars, and with the pressure growing, the rest of the cast are continuing to remain focused on their rehearsals.

The 33-year-old Ukranian stunner is nude in an incredible 8-page pictorial. Sexy Karina tells the mag:

Smirnoff, 33, is currently partnered with Ralph Macchio on DWTS. Aside from dancing, Karina is planning a trip down the aisle with pro baseball player Brad Penny. The Ukranian beauty has revealed her wedding will take place early next year.

Fresh off her success on Dancing With The Stars with partner The Situation, dancing pro Karina Smirnoff is getting ready to help the world shed any extra holiday pounds with the release of Shape Up, a dance-inspired workout DVD hitting stores just before Christmas.

Karina tells X17online exclusively:

"It's a whole body workout that will concentrate on getting rid of those love handles. The dance moves will also target that little pouch underneath the belly button that never seems to go away."

Smirnoff, who's engaged to St. Louis Cardinals baseball player Brad Penny, says that she's inspired every day by her man, whom she says, "lost 40 pounds already so he can be in the best possible shape for the upcoming baseball season."

With so many marriages failing in Hollywood, the newly engaged dancer tells us:

"All you can do is hope for the best and focus on how you’re in love right now. Both my parents and Brad's parents have been married for over thirty years so we have great examples to go by. The sad thing is, if you've made it as a married couple in Hollywood for five years, then people joke that you've made it. So many get married for all the wrong reasons."

Aside from auditioning for potential movie roles, Karina says that her boot line with Bearpaw will be coming out before the new year.

We love how Smirnoff's (also the name of Vodka) married name will be Mrs. Penny once she and her ballplayer head to the alter. She jokes, "Brad and I always laugh that our names combined will represent 'one cent liquor.'"

Karina Smirnoff is engaged to her boyfriend Brad Penny, and the professional dancer debuted her massive engagement ring last night in Las Vegas.

Penny, who is the starting pitcher for the St. Louis Cardinals, asked Smirnoff to marry him after a taping of Dancing With The Stars last month. "I was in the middle of the show and had no clue what was cooking behind my back," Smirnoff tells Us Weekly. "The dinner meeting was set up at a restaurant in Malibu. When [my manager and I] got there, it was completely empty. She excused herself to take a call and while I was sitting there alone, Brad came in."

"I had crazy hair and black lipstick on and was just concerned about looking like the Bride of Frankenstein," she continued. "Even after Brad got down to one knee and opened the box with the ring, it still didn't register." Karina added, "I'm the happiest I've ever been and Brad is the sole reason for that." Aww!
