Leave it to Kate Beckinsale to wear platform wedges on the beach for a memorial day bbq with her family (the same one that Gwen and Gavin attended).
I can barely walk in those on concrete let alone in the sand!
And in the video it looks like she's even running in them!

OK, it's silly to wear heels at the beach but if you're going to at least get the right size! Kate's feet are hanging out the front and the back. She is gorgeous, though.
