I understand sometimes when there are so many photographers trying to snap a pic of a star that a little help from the boys in blue might be in order. But for Kate Beckinsale?
The beautiful Ms. B was at Tavern in Brentwood with a friend, where it seemed as if only a small handful (fingerful, really!) of photogs were waiting to get a shot of her, but for some reason, Kate decided she needed help from the police just to get to her waiting car!
Or maybe she just didn't want to slip on the wet pavement in front of the cameras?
I dunno, but seems a little bizarro!
