Kate Beckinsale Offered Lead In Total Recall Remake

Kate Beckinsale has been offered the female lead in the Total Recall remake, according to Deadline.
Beckinsale's husband, Len Wiseman, is directing the film.
The flick has been highly sought after by actors due to the success of the 1990 original, which starred Arnold Schwarzenegger and Sharon Stone. Colin Farrell will take on the Schwarzenegger role in the remake. Beckinsale has been offered the part of Lori, which Stone played.

Eva Mendes and Rosario Dawson are reportedly up for the part of Melina in the film.
Beckinsale is currently filming Underworld 4: New Dawn, which Wiseman is producing. The couple met in 2003 on the set of the first Underworld, which Wiseman directed. Beckinsale was in a relationship with actor Michael Sheen at the time.
