Ho ho ho!

While Kate is probably gritting her teeth at the idea of being in the same house as her estranged hubby, Jon and the kids don't seem to mind!

In a recent interview with PopEater, Jon reveals that he will be under the same roof as Kate for Christmas! When asked about his holiday schedule, Jon said, "Christmas Eve and Christmas day are joint-shared custody days, which means we're both in the house. So we'll be there."

Maybe Jon will dress up as Santa? He's certainly got the body for it!

"A part of me always will [love Jon]," she told The Today Show's Natalie Morales. "It's hard to to be married to somebody for 10 years and try to say 'No, I don't love them anymore.' It doesn't work really well. I love the memories that we have together."

Kate also said she feels trapped by the unexpected fame that came with her reality star status.

"I signed up for a reality show, I didn't sign up to be a tabloid staple," she said. "If I said I was done and it was enough, it would just be five more covers of why it is that I'm done, and so I would be living that for a period of time essentially with no income, with no job," she whined.

Kate also said that there are a "very, very small group of people" she can trust now, and that "I still wake up every day and I think the phone will ring and it'll be ... the old Jon."

But the entire interview wasn't just a "poor me" pity party. Kate also admitted some responsibility for her situation.

"I was wrong to treat him that way," she says of her controlling behavior.

Wow, first Jon, now Kate admitting they were wrong? Do you think a reconciliation is possible? And how much money would TLC have to pay them to get back together?

Kate Gosselin took questions from viewers during last night's hour-long, You Ask, Kate Answers special on TLC, following the last scheduled new episode of Jon & Kate Plus 8.

The highlights from the show included Kate saying she prefers to remain a single mom, "I really don't want to married again," she responded to one viewer who asked if she'd ever walk down the aisle again.

Kate also said the kids are "not suffering from this." She must have been referring to the fact that the kids aren't suffering from mommy spending an hour in the studio, because she's more delusional than balloon boy's dad if she thinks there's any way they're not suffering from the war playing out in public between their parents!

She also revealed, surprise, surprise, that what she really wanted to do was act! “I would love to be in a movie at some point,” Kate said. “I’d like to be the voice in a cartoon for my kids… [and] I would love for my TV career to be successful.”

With another special in the works, Kate: Her Story which TLC says is going to be her "most intimate interview to date", it sounds like her TV career is already quite successful!

Kate failed to show up for a scheduled appearance at family court in Philadelphia today to discuss how the exes planned on resolving their dispute over the $230,000 that Kate accused Jon of withdrawing from their joint account, prompting Jon's lawyer to call her "the little old lady who lived in a shoe."

"Kate Gosselin is like the little old lady who lived in a shoe, who had so many children she didn't know what to do," said Jon Gosselin's attorney, Mark Jay Heller (at about the 1:50 mark). He went on to say, "but Kate Gosselin doesn't live in a shoe, she lives in a glass house and everybody's looking into that house. And one thing she should know NOT to do when you live in a glass house is to throw stones," Heller said to My Fox Philly outside the courtroom. Mix metaphors much?

“Jon Gosselin has met all of the obligations he was required to make," Heller said, in reference to the funds Jon returned to the account ahead of today's court date. "The obligations that Kate Gosselin has were not fulfilled. Maybe that explains why she didn’t appear in court today.”

Jon went on to say, “I’m a little shocked,” when asked about Kate’s no-show in court. “She keeps avoiding and avoiding, I guess that is the Kate Gosselin away."

Although Kate ditched out on the date to attend a conference and book signing in Long Beach, Kate's attorney said she fulfilled her obligation today. “Ms. Gosselin, who was directed by the court to provide an accounting by today’s date, did in fact provide a full and complete accounting of funds prior to today, and in light of that compliance, she was not required to be at today’s proceeding.”

Seems like the financial battle has been settled -- for now -- but the war of the Gosselins continues!

Though Jon Gosselin's lawyer claims he's in "complete compliance" with a court order to return $180,000 to the joint bank account he shares with his wife, Kate Gosselin's attorney Mark Momjian begs to differ!

Momjian tells Us Weekly that as of this afternoon, Jon has only deposited $28,500 into their account. "The only proof of money we received is $28,500 that was sent over a week ago," Momjian says. "The only thing we're looking for is the difference, which is about $151,500. We have not yet received confirmation of that." The reports that Jon has returned the complete sum of money is "factually incorrect," Momjian added.

If the remaining $151,500 is not deposited by Monday, Momjian says the quarrelsome couple will be back in court. Jon better sell off some of his jeweled Ed Hardy manties this weekend ... looks like he'll be needing that cash, and fast!

And no, I'm not talking about "why can't you use the money from your book sales to pay your bills," apparently TLC is gonna give Kate a whole hour to save their ratings answer such hard-hitting questions from viewers like, "What happened to the dogs?"

The special will air after the last scheduled episode of Jon & Kate Plus 8 (or is it just Kate Plus 8?) on the 26th in a last ditch effort to milk even more out of their cash cow now that Jon has put a stop to the filming. It will air the same day Kate's expected to face Jon in family court to settle their financial dispute.

The only problem is, now that they've graced the cover of practically every mag and gone on to spill their guts on almost every tv talk show, is there even anything left to cover?

In a new article for Vanity Fair, Kate Gosselin admits that her children have begun to "act out" since the collapse of their family and their show.

"I’m trying to give them the grace to see, if they’re acting out of line, I’m trying to look deeper into why that is,” she told the mag. “Why the kids are acting out. Cause it’s all inter-related. I mean, they don’t see it, but it’s all interconnected.”

Kids acting out after a contentious separation? What a concept!

“They miss him,” she says about their dad. “They say they miss him. I imagine they say the same thing when I’m away … ”

But that was about as far as the TLC publicist let Kate delve into the consequences of Jon & Kate's recent actions on the kids.

Because who cares about their eight kids when Jon's parading his 22-year-old girlfriend out around town and Kate's crying on every national talk show?

Unless Jon Gosselin changes his mind in the next few weeks, Jon & Kate Plus 8 will be going off the air in November. As we've previously reported, the show was set to be renamed Kate Plus Eight, and even if Jon did come back, he wouldn't be a huge part of the show.

TLC reportedly has enough previously unseen footage to create a few more episodes, but the network has said that they will not challenge Jon's decision to halt production of the show.

Bummer, because we really missed seeing these two on the tube!

Jon & Kate appeared together in court this morning in Philadelphia to argue their claims that each violated the terms of their divorce proceedings by withdrawing substantial amounts from their joint accounts.

The hearing lasted only one hour, in which the judge ordered them to try to work out their differences in private, according to My Fox Philly.

Kate initially accused Jon of withdrawing $230,000 from the couple's account, leaving her with less than $1,000 to pay the bills, while Jon fired back, claiming she's lying about her finances and in turn withdrew almost $70,000 from the joint account herself.

The embattled couple has two weeks to try to work it out with a private arbitrator before they are due to return to court on October 26th.

As if things couldn't get any more twisted in the Gosselin dispute, Jon's filed paperwork accusing Kate of withdrawing thousands from their joint account, and ordering her to account for what she spent and pay it back immediately.

Hmmm, sound familiar?

Jon's latest petition claims that Kate filed her petition "to cover up the fact that she removed hundreds of thousands of dollars from the marital estate." He also says that Kate's the one in violation of their court-ordered agreement, withdrawing more than $60,000 from one joint account between June 15 and September 15, and about $9,800 from a second account in mid-July.

He also says she's lying to the court about how much money she has left to pay the bills.

Although these papers were filed days ago, ET reports that the only reason Jon & Co. decided to go public was because Kate did it first!

Jon was reluctant to air their dirty laundry, says his attorney Mark Heller (too late!), but felt that Kate gave him no choice.

"Accordingly, in order for Jon's side to be known and the picture to be complete, we feel we have no choice but to release Jon's Answer and Counterclaim," Heller said.

Jeez, if the last few weeks was Jon trying not to "embarrass Kate," as he claims, I cannot WAIT to see what happens now that he's not afraid to open the floodgates!

Kate Gosselin has filed paperwork asking for child and temporary spousal support from her estranged hubby Jon. After the father of the year reportedly took $230,000 from their joint bank account, and after their court date was postponed earlier this week, it looks like Kate wants Jon to show her the money!

Kate's lawyer Mark Momjian said, "She needs relief in light of the draining of substantial marital assets in violation of the arbitrator's decision that the money should be used only for specific purposes." Momjian added that an arbitrator's conference is set for Tuesday October 13.

Tomorrow is Cara and Mady Gosselin's 9th birthday, and while Kate has plans to stay at home and give her children a normal, low key celebration, it looks like someone wasn't invited!

Today Jon told ET that Kate is trying to change their custody arrangement so that he is only allowed to be at their Pennsylvania home from 4 to 6pm on Thursday.

"She's trying to prevent me from seeing my kids on Mady and Cara's birthday," he says. Jon also claims Kate is also trying to alter the weekend visitation schedule as well. Jon continues, "That's like giving her full custody by obeying her. She can't tell me what to do. I'm not going to allow it. I'm just going to stay. I own the house so I can do what I want. She's trying to prevent me from seeing my kids on their birthday because she doesn't want to see me. She doesn't want to hear my apology. She doesn’t want to work things out."

Hmm, maybe you shouldn't have taken all that money out of your joint account? Just saying!

Jon and Kate Gosselin were supposed to have a hearing today to hash out the details of their latest battle over money, but the court date was cancelled because Judge Arthur Tilson's wife died of cancer early this morning.

The hearing will be rescheduled for sometime next week, but you can bet Jon will stir up even more trouble in the meantime!

In court documents filed yesterday, Kate has ordered her estranged hubby to repay the $230,000 she says he withdrew from their joint account within 24 hours of the court's order - even if it means he has to sell his BMW and Mercedes to cover what he spent!

She's also asked the court to order Jon to disclose all his spending, from whatever source, over the last 60 days.

Additionally, Kate wants Jon to produce his attorney Mark J. Heller's retainer agreements, documentation regarding payment of any fees or retainers, and also copies of all invoices from Heller.

Kate's also asking the court to hold Jon in contempt of their their Interim Arbitration Award for withdrawing the money in the first place and pay her $5,000 legal fee.

Kate's previously stated that Jon's violation of their agreement has left her with only $1,000 and she's not able to pay the family's bills.

After it was revealed that Jon took out anywhere from $175,000 (he said) to $230,000 (she said) from he and Kate's joint account, Kate said the withdrawal has left her unable to pay the bills.

And apparently, the bills, which included the mortgages on the Wernersville estate as well as Jon & Kate's previous home in Elizabethtown, which they haven't been able to sell yet, were already quite substantial.

My Fox Philly reports that the Gosselins initially took out a $720,000 loan on the estate and a $193,000 mortgage on their previous house.

If Kate really does have only $1,000 left in her checking account to pay all the family's bills, there's no way she could make both those payments this month.

"You left your children and their mother unable to pay the bills," Kate told Jon on the Today show.

But after all the money TLC paid them for their show, are Jon and Kate really in danger of losing their homes to foreclosures?

And now for your hourly update on the Gosselins and their neverending drama....

Though Kate appeared on The Today Show this morning and revealed that Jon snatched hundreds of thousands of dollars away from her and the kids, Jon is calling her claims "a total fabrication."

In an interview airing on The Insider tonight, Jon says, "I've never taken any money out because over ten years, Kate handled all the banking. Over the past four years of doing the show, we accrued $2,250,000. She says in the past week I took $230,000. I have withdrawn roughly $177,000 over the course of a year, which is less than 10 percent of what we made. That's like my paycheck." Jon added, "I withdrew $22,000 last Thursday. I have the paper trail to prove it." Hmm wonder what that $22k was for? That's a pretty big withdrawal for a reality TV dad living a normal life! And didn't he just say that he hasn't taken any money out?

And that's not all! Jon went on to say that Kate is "incriminating herself and not thinking clearly. She's wanting me to look bad. She's hiding money. We have 11 bank accounts. That was just our joint account. She had a best-selling book. Where's that million dollars?" But is Kate REALLY hiding the money from Jon? Maybe trying to halt production of their show (aka their income) wasn't such a smart move, Jon!

Anyway, lawyers for the feuding couple are currently on a conference call with a judge trying to determine whether or not Jon was in contempt of a court order when he (allegedly) withdrew $230,000 from their joint bank account. If Jon is found to be in contempt, he could be forced to return the money...hopefully he hasn't spent it all on Ed Hardy gear and Hailey's boob job!

And the drama continues! But rather than being about a certain 23-year-old homewrecking girlfriend or a verbal smackdown, this time it's about money!

Kate Gosselin chatted with Meredith Vieira on The Today Show this morning and revealed that not only has Jon been spending the couple's money on erratic purchases, but that he's left her and their eight kids without enough money to pay the bills!

Kate told Meredith, "He took $230,000 of the $231,000 [in their shared banking account], and I have a stack of bills in my purse that I can't drop in the mail. When you've left your children and their mother unable to pay for the roof over their head, it's not acceptable."

"We were in the position after our sextuplets were born that we could not pay our bills," she continued. "We did the show to provide a better life for them. Never did I think I'd be back in the same position. I can't sleep at night. I can't pay my bills."

And Kate says this isn't the first time Jon has done this! Just days before she filed for divorce in June, Kate moved $100,000 into her bank account because she was concerned that she wouldn't be able to afford food, but their arbitrator suggested that she put the money back into their shared account, which she did. Kate claims she spent half of the $100,000 on bills, while Jon used it for "erratic purchases and randomly buying things."

As if all that wasn't enough, Kate says the kids are upset that the show has stopped filming, saying, "I told the kids over the weekend that we weren't filming. Times eight, there was wailing and sobbing. They love the crew, they love the interaction, they love the events. It is not harmful to them. They are angry."
