Jon Gosselin Tells Kate: "Reality TV Is Not A Career"

Kate Gosselin said this week she is "freaking out" over how she will support her eight children now that her TLC show, Kate Plus 8, has been canceled.
Now, her ex Jon is speaking out, and we never thought we'd say it, but we agree with him! Even though Jon was once under major fire for allegedly cheating on Kate, he now seems to be the voice of reason!
Jon told Rumor Fix:
- "There are families out there that have several kids, people work normal jobs and things work out. … Reality television is not a career. Get back to normal life, simple life. Provide for your family."
Good point! People work every day! Jon, who has been spotted working construction, said he sees his kids often and pays child support. As for how his parenting differs from Kate's, Jon said: “I don’t have a farm on 24 acres and the kids seem to have a good time at my house. ... I enjoy normal life like normal people.”

He was never the bad buy. If you watched the earliest episodes it was clear that she drove him out Her constant berating, nagging and lack of respect toward him finally took its toll. You can see now that she does the same thing to everyone else. She is not a nice person.
She Was always a nasty cvnt to him on the show from the very beginning & drove him away. Maybe she should have saved some of that money instead of thinking that gravy train would always be there and spending it all away.
Wow, even when others may have thought badly of Jon, I always felt he was a good guy behind it all. Once again, we get to see that he really is a nice, normal father, and we get to see who brought all of the problems to the relationship - Kate. At least the kids have their father to look out for them, as their mother would probably sell all 8 of them if she thought she'd get enough money for each!! Do you think people buy older children on the black market? Kate will be looking for a deal. Stay normal Jon!
I liked Jon on the show and didn't understand why she let that woman belittle him. He was a real jerk in the months following his separation/divorce. He really was a tool during that time.
However, he has clearly cleaned up his act and got his life together. Obviously he always had that sensible chip in him.
Kate on the other hand has never changed. She was a bi*ch in the beginning, a bi*ch during, and a bi*ch after the show. She was a complete fool on DWTS and her poor partner couldn't even stand her, but he had to smile for the cameras and suck it up. I hope DWTS gave him a big bonus for putting up with her talenless a$$.
Kate is getting what she deserves. Shame on TLC for even keeping her on the air as long as they did. That was child abuse on the part of TLC and mostly Kate.
If Kate is so worried about money where did she get the 50grand to buy a new Audi other sites are talking about?
Totally agree with Priam's post. I don't want to hear one complaint about money out of her mouth after she just purchased a new and expensive car. Buy a Kia, Kate!
Now that the show is over, maybe we won't have to read the same comments over and over. Jon was always a little bit better at hiding his douche bag side but he's no prince. Seemed to always but the girlfriends before the kids. You don't have several kids, you have eight and you had a hand in putting them on the show in the first place, hypocrite. Don't act so high and mighty now.
Im not into getting into other peoples affairs, but as far as I know, Jon, neither is being a slum bum with a beer belly a career. He had children with this woman and thats all he can think about, what ignorance!
Apparently Kate's care is used and she bought it before the show was cancelled. I don't know why some reports are insinuating the car is new and she just purchased it.
Anyway, regardless, she is an annoying, nagging biatch. It's amazing. If you just saw her on the street and knew nothing about her, you would think she is attractive. I can't think of another woman whose personality makes her so incredibly ugly.
What on earth did they do with all the millions they received???!!!! brutal!!!! I could live off of a mil for the rest of my life and provide for my kids let alone at least 10 mil. Cant believe they blew all of that free cash when they have a zillion children. shame on them both.

I have no sympathy and have an easy answer for her. Sell the house, trade in the new expensive sports car, enroll in public school, tan naturally, loose the hair extensions and body guard. I bet she can make it now!
What about him? Is he paying child support? Is he going to? Usually when families are that big they either have BOTH parents contributing income or they are on welfare. Do we want them on welfare? You should of watched their show! LOL!
I still feel bad for Kate. She is a Type A personality and with 8 kids, she is driving herself to the extreme. She doesn't understand that she comes across mean and harsh. Her mind in focused on an agenda and she will see it through. She doesn't realize. Don't hate on her. She needs therapy to see is all.
if she stopped the fake tanning the nails the hair ( prob over $1000 a pop) etc then perhaps her children might have a future its not all about you kate :)
