Kate Gosselin Breaks Down On The Today Show!

Kate Gosselin sat down with Meredith Vieira for her first television appearance since announcing her split from husband Jon less than 8 weeks ago, and some of the things she had to say totally have us on Team Kate now!
When Vieira questioned her about Jon's younger, party princess girlfriend Hailey Glassman, Kate said, "I was shocked, but those things...to be very honest, that's his life and they don't affect me directly at this point...It is hurtful. It's very hurtful. To be very honest, the most hurtful part is when his decisions directly affect our children. That's the hardest part for me."
Vieira asked why she still wears her wedding ring, and Kate broke down into tears and replied, "For [the children]. I don't want to upset them. While I've been very real and as honest as I need to be, I don't want to shock them. I've walked slowly through this with them. As they've asked questions, I've answered them." She added that she'll take off the ring "when the time is right."
When Vieira discussed the split, and who was responsible for it, Kate responded, "Nobody's perfect. I was not perfect. Obviously, it takes two. I don't know. What would I go back and change? It's hard to say. Clearly, [Jon's] goals are not my goals, so we just needed to work that out. I think it's very clear that we are two different people at this point, with two different sets of goals."
So how is she coping? "I am determined to hang in there. What life hands me, I am going to do and deal with," she said. "My focus still, as I've always said - as I will always say - is the health and well being of my children, as well as myself...this is not what any mother sets out for her children. This does not feel like the best for them...I want my children to see a mother who is committed to her children, who is determined, who has integrity, perseverance and never gives up. I want my children to see that everything I've done for them is out of love."
Jon is scheduled to give his first interview since the split on E! tonight, so it should be very interesting to see what he has to say!

She sounds pretty honest to me and at least SHE is spending time with the kids. Meanwhile Jon's done everything but spend time with his kids. She is definitely the most responsible adult. Alhtough she's right, nobody is perfect and she could have dealt with things better, but what can you do.
I heard that it's Kate's fault because she refused to learn how to make french toast properly (silly woman - you can't make it in a toaster oven).

It hurt for a little while, this man was in my life for 30years, but he too was lazy and needed to be lead by his nose. That gets so tiring after awhile. Chicago Sun Times says that Kate had an entourage with her during the interview. You can see it's a huge business. Her every move is calculated and planned by her big team.
When The Today Show crew was going to show the entourage, Kate threw a fit and threatened to walk out. She didn't want people to know she had a team of PR experts helping her to fix her image.
Then Kate shopped some toys and went back to the hotel to have sex with her silver hair bodyguard Steves O'Neill. The whole floor could hear her scream "Yes! It's all for my kids. Now give me some more."
I felt sorry for her, when she was questioned about personal matters. It was not an act, famous people have feelings and a mothers heart always triggers emotions. After that many children, why would she cheat???
