Jon & Kate Are Doing It For The Kids!

Though many media outlets are criticizing Jon and Kate Gosselin for their string of recent (and highly publicized) interviews, it seems like the soon-to-be divorced couple have one thing they agree on: they're doing it for their children.
Jon seems overwhelmed with the media coverage following his split from Kate, yet he continues to film episodes of Jon & Kate Plus 8, and Kate has said that she wants to stay out of the limelight, but she appeared on Larry King last night, and she's going to be co-hosting The View for two days next month. So why are they doing all of this?
While many are suggesting that the reality TV parents are simply hungry for fame, consider this: they have 8 children, and for 1-2 years, all of them will be in college at the same time. When you factor in the bills that they have now, plus their current tuition (which costs around $100,000 a year), things start to get pretty expensive! So even though Jon and Kate seem like they're trying to stay relevant, when it really comes down to it, they're just looking out for their family...

I think if you double check your facts you will find J&K arranged early on to the have at least sextuplet's college education covered by the state of PA. The same deal that got them over 100 nurses through their home when the 6 were first born paid for by tax payers on Kate's demands. Please dont play the victim card there are millions in the U.S. right now with little to nothing to feed, clothe and house their kids properly never mind college and many kids who work really hard to earn scholarships or pay their own way through school.
If they are truly worried about money and the kids future than maybe they should stop spending so much on multiple expensive cars, extra places to live, designer clothing, spa days etc., etc. They dont spend like they are worried about money so that argument doesnt wash.
Dont fool yourself. Those kids aren't college material.
Boycott this show. If you are buying Kate's sob story, you are a fool. Stand up against greedy Networks and parents.

I would do what Kate is doing if I had her children. She is making a damned good living doing this show, and she does take really good care of those children. She is not exploiting them, these children are not actors, they are children. They have no script to go by, they are just themselves in front of the cameras.
I feel that people should just leave Kate and the kids alone. I can't understand some of the comments posted a little while ago. These are smart children, they will go to college!
How do you know that the state of PA is going to pay their tuition? I lived in PA for awhile and they don't give you anything, in fact, that state will take from you before you can blink!
As for Jon. He may not like doing the show, then fine, when his contract is up, stop doing the show. I used to like Jon, but he has become such a whiney baby. If he doesn't like all the attention, then why hang out with the likes of media whore Michael Lohan? Jon just needs to keep his nose clean, his mouth shut, his tallywagger in his pants, and go an get a real job if he doesn't want to be in the limelight. He needs to grow up and be a real man!
As for Kate, she is doing a great job with those children. They are healthy and happy and well adjusted. Leave her and the kids alone!

Who CARES!!!! Really why are they in the news is this entertainment? She in the limelight because she wanted to be famous face it. People should walk away and the media should leave this media whore alone with all those kids. I think all the fame went to Kate head. I did like the show but it seems when they moved to the new house things went downhill. Stop trying to act rich & famous.

Kate Gosselin is a lowlife. She got rid of her husband after making lots money of her children and falling for her bodyguard.
Kate is a leech, she only shows affection to her kids when camera is rolling. They are her cash cows. She doesn't care about their feelings, self-esteem, and wellbeing.
Did she give her husband balls back? How could anyone want to sleep with this tranny? Her body is as thick as a dude.
Jon and Kate are both major attention who*res and the kids are the ones that are going to suffer. If they had any decency as parents, they'd cancel the show and let the divorce play out in private.

If they are doing all of this "for the kids", how come they are getting most of the perks? Kate never seems to wear the same thing twice ... fake nails, spa treatments, etc. Jon and his clothes, etc. TLC, please pull the plug on this "reality" family and let them get real jobs like the rest of us.
