Report: Kate Gosselin Considered For Next Bachelorette

Kate Gosselin is single and ready to mingle ... possibly in front of the nation as ABC's next Bachelorette, according to show creator Mike Fleiss.
Ryan Seacrest, on KIIS-FM this morning, asked Fleiss whether he'd consider Gosselin, the mother of eight, for the reality dating show ... and he responded:
- "I guess it’s kinda interesting. I’ve never thought about it. Seriously, It would have to be a special edition of the Bachelorettte. I wouldn’t want to jump the shark.”
Seacrest didn't stop there. He called ABC's President Steve McPherson and asked his thoughts on the suggestion. The head honcho's reply?
- “...that could be great ... she was great on Dancing [with the Stars].”
McPherson was quick to invite Ryan to join the series as the next Bachelor, to which he replied, "I don't have the time ... I have a contract with FOX."
No time for love? Come on, Ryan.

I can't believe that ABC could jeopardize ratings with Kate Gosselin. We had to endure DWTS and I could believe they could find enough men that would be interested. PLEASE don't make is suffer through this.
Not a good idea. The kids would drive any man crazy. They are almost completely lacking in manners, Any man she hooked up with would not be allowed to discipline them and he'd end up a doormat like Jon.
I've changed my mind about her. Would definitely watch, and wish her the best. To all the jerks on here: There are actually real men out there that would enjoy raising those little kids.
I don't think Kate's capable of having a successful relationship. She seems like too much of a control freak and would have trouble treating a man as her equal as opposed to another one of her children.
