Kate Cures Her Break-Up Blues In Aspen

Nursing her break-up with A-Rod, Kate surrounded herself with friends and family in Aspen over the weekend, getting in a little retail therapy with son Ryder, brother Oliver and gal pal Elle Macpherson.

One photog asked Kate if what she really wanted to find underneath her tree this X-mas was "A-Rod all wrapped up in a bow" but she remained tight-lipped!

Aww, think this breakup really got to her?

From what I can tell, she's the issue in all of her failed relationships. She's super-high maintenance & super-demanding. Even while attending A-Rod's games SHE wanted to be the center of attention - at HIS baseball games.

She needs to have her ego deflated a bit. I think her opinion of herself is too high, so that comes out as pure 'bitchiness' in her relationships.

Oops, somebody forgot to tell her there are no dominicans, losers or desperate men in Aspen! Ah snap, now she will have to go back to LA and slop up anyone who will bang her head on the headboard. What mother brings this many different booty-calls around their child, besides trailer trash w/money?
