On Thursday Kate Middleton made an appearance in Southampton, England to name Princess Cruises' new ship, the Royal Princess, and this is her final solo engagement before taking maternity leave.

The Duchess covered up her baby bump in a Hobbs dalmatian print coat, and we still can't believe she's due to give birth on July 11. She's on the same time schedule as Kim Kardashian, yet she only looks like she's in her second trimester!

Kate smiled after she smashed a bottle of champagne against the hull of the vessel, and she later enjoyed a performance by the Band of Her Majesty's Royal Marines Portsmouth and The Pipe Band of 1st Battalion Irish Guards.

Kate Middleton Almost Admits That She's Having A Baby Girl

Mar 6, 2013 08:29 AM

Kate Middleton stopped by the National Fishing Heritage Centre in Grimsby, England on Tuesday, and when given a teddy bear by a local woman, the Duchess said, "Thank you, I'll take that for my d--," before cutting herself off.

When a guest asked Kate if she was about to say "daughter," she smiled and replied coyly, "We're not telling." Another witness overheard the exchange and told reporters, "I said to her, 'You were going to say daughter weren't you?' and she said, 'No, we don't know.'"

Us Magazine reports that the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge recently learned the sex of their baby, "but they've only told their parents." In all fairness, Kate probably didn't know when she purchased nursery furniture from Petit Tresor back in December, but the room does have a decidedly feminine feel!

As far as the royal family is concerned, the sex of their child has nothing to do with whether they will rule the country. Queen Elizabeth II recently stated that if William and Kate's firstborn was a daughter she will be called "Princess" and referred to as Her Royal Highness. Additionally, the Succession the Crown Bill decrees that William and Kate's firstborn will be the heir to the throne regardless of gender.

Pregnant Bikini Photos Of Kate Middleton To Be Published By Italian Magazine

Feb 12, 2013 12:40 PM

The same Italian magazine that published topless photos of Kate Middleton last September has now gotten their hands on pictures the pregnant Duchess of Cambridge in a bikini while on vacation in Mustique.

St. James Palace has confirmed that Chi magazine has the pics, and they issued the following statement:

We are disappointed that photographs of the Duke and Duchess on a private holiday look likely to be published overseas. This is a clear breach of the couple’s right to privacy.

In September 2012, the British royal family took France's Closer magazine to court after they published the first topless photos of the duchess. A judge ruled in favor of the royal family, and the publication was banned from printing or selling the "highly intimate" photos.

Kate Middleton Due To Give Birth In July, Palace Confirms

Jan 14, 2013 10:30 AM

katedue230.jpg Mark your calendars, royal watchers!

Kate Middleton is due to give birth to her first child in July, the Palace confirms.

"Their Royal Highnesses, The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, are delighted to confirm they are expecting a baby in July. The Duchess's condition continues to improve since her stay at the hospital last month," read a statement from St. James's Palace.

Although Prince William's wife was suffering from severe morning sickness at the beginning of her pregnancy, it sounds like she's on the mend. Although rumors of twins have been rampant, a 12-week scan showed that the British beauty is carrying just one heir in her belly.

Miss Middleton is believed to be about 14 weeks pregnant, and although we have yet to see a distinct baby bump, we caught a glimpse of the beginnings of one when she attended the unveiling of her official portrait last week.

We're dying to know if she's expecting a prince or a princess!

Victim Of Kate Middleton Prank Hanged Herself, Left Three Suicide Notes

Dec 13, 2012 10:15 AM

kate-mi-nurse-230.jpgJacintha Saldanha, the nurse in the Kate Middleton prank call scandal who committed suicide last week, hanged herself with a scarf last week and left several suicide notes, according to UK authorities.

Saldanha's body was discovered by co-workers at her hospital living quarters, and the coroner says she also suffered "some injuries to her wrist." Officials added that Saldanha left behind three suicide notes; two discovered near her body and another one near her belongings.

On December 4, 2DayFM DJs Mel Greig and Michael Christian called the King Edward VII hospital pretending to be Prince Charles and Queen Elizabeth, and Saldanha, who had been caring for Middleton during her stay, fell for the prank. Saldanha then passed the Aussie DJs on to another nurse, who gave away confidential details about the pregnant Duchess. Three days later, she was found dead.

Southern Cross Austereo, who owns 2Day FM, said on Monday that they "terminated" the Australian radio show and plan to implement "a company-wide suspension of prank calls."

Australian Radio Show Cancelled After Prank Call Led To Kate Middleton's Nurse's Suicide

Dec 10, 2012 07:49 AM

kate-middleton-hospital-radio-230.jpgSouthern Cross Austereo (SCA), who owns 2Day FM, says they have "terminated" the Australian radio show and plan to implement "a company-wide suspension of prank calls," after the tragedy that occurred last week.

On December 4, 2DayFM DJs Mel Greig and Michael Christian called the King Edward VII hospital pretending to be Prince Charles and Queen Elizabeth, and Jacintha Saldanha, who had been caring for Middleton during her stay, fell for the prank. Saldanha then passed them on to another nurse, who gave away confidential details about the pregnant Duchess. Just three days later, Saldanha was found dead, and authorities suspect that she took her own life.

SCA added that it still feels "deep regret" for the death of Saldanha and they "take the events of the last few days very seriously." SCA added that they have suspended all advertising on 2Day FM until further notice, and though they don't believe they broke the law by making the calls, they will cooperate with any police investigation.

Before they were suspended, TMZ reports that the DJs were bragging about the call, but on Monday they went on TV to apologize for their actions, admitting that they're "shattered, gutted, heartbroken," after learning of Saldanha's death.

When asked about learning of Saldanha's death, Greig said, "Unfortunately I remember that moment very well, because I haven't stopped thinking about it since it happened. I remember my first question was 'Was she a mother?' I've wanted to just reach out to them and just give them a big hug and say sorry. I hope they're okay, I really do. I hope they get through this."

Christian added, "I hope that they get the love, the support, the care that they need, you know."

Saldanha left behind a husband, Ben Barboza, and two young children.

Kate Middleton Experiences More Morning Sickness, Prince William Cancels Event

Dec 10, 2012 06:00 AM

william120612_02_230.jpgJust days after she was released from London's King Edward VII Hospital, Kate Middleton experienced another bout with acute morning sickness, forcing Prince William to cancel a Sunday event to remain by her side.

"The Duke of Cambridge will no longer attend the British Military Tournament at Earl's Court this evening, but will spend Sunday privately with the Duchess instead," the rep from the palace said in a statement. "It is well known that hyperemesis gravidarum often recurs and, until further notice, to allow the Duchess a degree of privacy during her pregnancy, we do not intend to offer regular condition checks or advise of routine developments associated with it."

The 30-year-old Duchess and her hubby had just announced her pregnancy last week and had checking into the hospital during her first foray with morning sickness.
