Is Gayle Snubbing Oprah For Hermes?

Oprah BFF Gayle King was spotted at the All My Sons event at the Hermes store in New York last night.
Hermes, you remember, was the place that snubbed Oprah a few years ago in Paris. They wouldn't let her in just minutes after closing to buy a watch, in what was accused as a racially motivated move.
But do you really think Gayle would do anything to upset her gravy train?
Oprah and Hermes made up, on her show, in fact, and Oprah explained that she wasn't upset with the company, just one person who was rude. In fact, she even told her audience to shop away!
Plus, who doesn't love Hermes?

no,like u just said it was just one person who was rude and if oprah isn't upset with them. then why shouldn't her friend shop there, plus it's shows that she meant what she said about telling people to continue shopping there.
i think it's agood sign, plus you can't blame everyone for one person mistakes. we are all not perfect, including oprah. so i'm glad that her friend is shopping there, it's a very good gesture on behalf of oprah. plus too many cray stories going around, that beat this one by far..lol
i agree with the first comment, and race didn't play a part there. i'm a black woman living in paris(i was born there), and france has a large number of black people..LOL just look at the french soccer national team at least 80% of the team is black. plus as french people i think we have the highest % interracial relationships. it was a really small mistake and i'm glad that her friend is shopping there.
as a french person myself, also agree with lh. race was not the issue , just like you mentioned that we have so many races in france. it was just like oprah said, one person was rude. we love you oprah :-)
considering that these two are really good friends, i'm sure that oprah knew where her friend was going to shop. plus it wasn't a big deal and it was never a big celeb news.
There is absolutely NO DOUBT in my mind that Oprah set them up! She knew the store was closed, and so why try to get in? If she thought she should be invited in simply because she's Oprah, she was seriously mistaken. I'm just a regular everday person, and if I saw they were closed, I would have walked away. Oprah is simply, a narcissist, and needs to deflate her overblown ego.

Oprah said she was turned away because the store claimed it had been "having a problem with Notrh Africans lately".
