I think it was rude and hurtful for Katie to say that about Nicole's kids calling her Mom. Especially after all the hoopla over the interview Nicole gave that everyone twisted into something it wasn't. The interviewer asked Nicole if her kids called her 'Mummy' and she said, "No, they call me 'Mum' or sometimes Nicole. And I say, Hey! if they say that to me"

So many things get twisted in the media. Katie should have been more thoughtful of Nicole's feelings.

What's the big deal about the kids calling Katie Mom? My son calls his stepmother "Mom" when he's around her; kids know who their real parents are. What does bug me is how Katie said that just after Nicole reported that the kids called her Nicole (although, I saw Nicole on an interview the other day and she said the kids call her Mum OR Nicole). But, it was pretty obvious that Katie was trying to one up Nicole by making that statement.

Jackie O had a hideous smile, so does Katie. They both are brunettes. Jackie O sounded as dumb as a rock when she spoke, so does Katie. End of similiarities.
