Katie Holmes Leaves Suri - And Her Fashion Sense - At Home For NYC Dinner Date

Someone should have consulted with Suri before heading out the door in this outfit!
Katie Holmes grabbed an early dinner in the Big Apple yesterday, and the Jack and Jill actress opted for a navy button down maxi skirt, a light blue collared top, and yellow kitten heels. She did play Jackie O in the TV movie The Kennedys, but clearly she didn't take any style tips from the American fashion icon!
We know the Holmes & Yang designer is dying to be taken seriously as a fashion industry power player like her pal Victoria Beckham, but she's not doing herself any favors with this frumpy get-up.
Mrs. Tom Cruise needs to step up her fashion game! At least she can smile about it!
