Katie Holmes attended the New York Observer's 25th Anniversary Party at the Four Seasons Restaurant in Manhattan last night, and she looked amazing in a black Dolce & Gabbana dress. Maybe she's given up on wearing her own creations to events?
Of course, she hasn't given up on styling herself for her everyday looks. "I rely on my friends to inspire and lead me in the right direction and tell me when it's not working," Holmes told Us Weekly at the bash. "I always love an A-line skirt and wide-legged pants. They're helpful!" I guess it depends on what you wear with it...
Katie wrapped production on the Broadway play Dead Accounts this winter, and next up is Responsible Adults, in which she stars opposite Chace Crawford in a rom com about "Baxter Wood, who realizes that his crush, med student Liz Quinn, was his babysitter 15 years ago," according to IMDb. Could be funny!
