Report: Caroline Kennedy Stopped Disney From Releasing The Kennedys

Scandalous!
Caroline Kennedy has allegedly waged a war against all of Disney (which owns A&E), threatening to cancel the release of audiotapes (never-before-heard conversations with her mother) on ABC and refusing to publicize the book of transcripts of the tapes (to be released by Hyperion) if The Kennedys wasn't scrapped, reports the NY Post. But why?
It's the 50th anniversary year of JFK's inauguration and, according to a source close to the family, the actual Kennedys didn't appreciate the promos portraying the fam like "an episode of Dallas."
A network source also alleges that Caroline's literary agent called Hyperion in December and announced that Caroline "is going to pull back" on the book "if she doesn't get what she wants."
And it seems Caroline won!
The series reportedly cost over $25 million to make and the cable network had committed an additional $3-4 million more to promote it.

Why scandalous? The woman knows her own parents and life. How a movie shows it, is not necessarily how she knows it or wants the world to see (manipulated) accents on her own history and roots. It is more scandalous Tom Cruise bought the movie role for his wife. And that he wants the world to believe she earned it. Or deserves it.
Her grandfather made the Kennedy fortune as a bootlegger during prohibition. He was also an anti-semite. Pres. Kennedy screwed everything that walked until he was shot. Sen. Bobby Kennedy was passing around M. Monroe with the Pres.. Sen Edward Kennedy left Mary Joe to drown in his car while he hid and sobered up. He spent the rest of his life as a drunk. He also was responsible for the major changes to american immigration law in the 60's that opened the flood gates to millions of illegal aliens. Illegal aliens were unheard of before that. F... the Kennedys. Carolyn is rich because of a crooked grandfather but the Kennedy name is royalty to the cultural elites.
Lets see they are drug abusing alcoholics who slept with everyone they could and one of them was responsible for the death of a young woman....

12:29 you also forgot that grandfather Kennedy paid Sam Giancana, the Chicago mob boss, to order all the Chicago unions to vote for then Sen. John Kennedy for president. He promised Giancana the Kennedys would leave the mobsters alone. Kennedy won Illinois and the presidency. President Kennedy appointed his brother Bobby as Attorney General and he went after the mobsters. When Pres. Kennedy got shot lots of people thought the mob did it to pay back the Kennedy family for their double-cross. The Kennedy family stinks from top to bottom.

Caroline should go spend her time doing something else. The movie is not going to be about anything we don't already know. I just want to see Katie Holmes be Jackie O. Gee whiz.
Her grandfather, who made all the money she lives off of, had no problem with the persecution of the jews in Germany before WWll. The death camps didn't bother him either. He hated the jews. To him, they were nothing but Christ killers and deserved to die.

i would have enjoyed watching the movie. The Kennedy's are suppose to be America's 1st Family and have always had everyone's attention. Their family history certainly isn't pristine to say the least, and it seems as if Caroline is keeping up with the family's tradition of blackmail. I think A&E should show it anyway. To hell with Caroline.
But more importantly is Caroline still cheating on hubby with the NYT guy???
The gall of Caroline thinking she was gonna be handed the Senate seat in New York just because she is a Kennedy.
And I thought the Democrats were all about freedom of speech and the like. A sad day in America....
