Katie Holmes already leased her own $12,500/mo apartment in New York, immediately after announcing, last month, she would divorce hubby Tom Cruise after more than five years of marriage -- now she's moving out of the $30 million mansion the couple shared in Beverly Hills.
The seven-bedroom, nine-bathroom manse, built in 1937, which features a tennis court, swimming pool and movie theater was reportedly up for grabs -- not having been listed in the pair's pre-nup since they bought it in 2007 after the "marital contract" had already been signed.
But it seems the home will go to Tom! Katie's belongings were carted away by Pods trucks Wednesday afternoon -- no doubt headed for some air conditioned storage space as nice as many people's homes ...
The couple's pre-nup reportedly gives Katie their Montecito mansion and $3 million for every year the pair were together. Not bad for almost 6 years of marriage -- it's better than Dawson's Creek royalties!
