Katie Holmes Goes Makeup Free For Shopping Spree At Maxfield

One of the few lucky ladies who can go totally bare-faced and still look beautiful, Katie Holmes beamed as she happily chatted away on her cell after a shopping trip to Maxfield in LA, on Wednesday.
The Jack and Jill star stepped out looking like the girl next door in a low-key ensemble of dark jeans, flow-y black top and boots -- only her giant wedding ring, and a hovering bodyguard, gave away her Hollywood A-list status.
It was recently announced Mrs. Tom Cruise would play the important role of the "Slutty Pumpkin" on the upcoming Halloween episode of How I Met Your Mother.
The "Pumpkin" character has always been an important part of the series, but was never actually revealed -- until now!
Holmes recently returned to from a weekend trip to Pittsburgh where she met up with hubby Tom Cruise, who is shooting the upcoming film, One Shot. The pair was seen taking daughter Suri to Soergel Orchards, where they were treated to a private horse-drawn wagon ride through the apple orchards.
