He said in his Primetime Live interview with Diane Sawyer that the experance of having Suri was just differnt not greater then adopting Conner and Bella. 7.51 He was acting like a first time biological father going through a partners pregnancy for the first time, which he was. It was exciting for him . This was the first time he heard the heart beat, saw his child being born etc.

What a stupid mistake using a relative's sperm now seems to have been. The whole idea was to produce a baby that looked like Tom. In effect a baby who looked very much like the donor was instead produced. Hence Katie having to make statements like "Tom says she looks like me! I say she looks like Tom!" Well she does look like Tom. In the same way that William Mapother looks like Tom.
