While her BFF Victoria is prancing around in her panties for Armani, Katie Holmes' new Miu Miu ad campaign has hit the web, and call us crazy, but we think she looks pretty Photoshopped fierce!
After staring at Katie's shots, we started thinking about all the other celebs who have lent their famous faces to the fashion industry - with the Beckhams, Lindsay and Madonna posing for the likes of Louis Vuitton, Armani and Fornarina, will supermodels like Kate Moss and Gisele be left jobless?
What's with the growing trend of stars posing for some of our favorite designers? Is it because we want to be more like the stars we idolize, or are supermodels becoming extinct once and for all?
And just how much Photoshopping was done on Katie's ad?

The High Fashion Designers are running out of idea's that is whats happening, they're trying their best to keep their image infront and center.. and this is the reason they're asking celebs to model for them. with a celeb name it goes further than a new/no-name fashion model. yes this is becoming a trend and get set we're about to see many of the same thing.. reason is due to the outcry(finally) of skinny models showing face designers are coming up with different tactics in order to get their clothes sold.. period.. afterall wouldnt you be afraid to call Katie Holmes an Anorextic dope addicted model? no.. thats tom's private nickname..

Um.. to my knowledge Gisele/Kate currently have the Vesace s/s 09 campaign..Gisele also has the upcoming s/s 09 Dior campaign,the Stefanel campaign,the Aquascutum campaign.. and Kate always has stuff going as well..I don't think either of them are hurting. I for one though, can't stand actors/musicians modeling..way to much photoshop.. I love fashion and fashion models,the real thing.

I don't think she looks bad, I don't understand the malicious comments on this thread. If someone thinks she looks bad, okay, but that's no reason to be cruel!

Read that Tom Cruise promised Katie she'd be a star after they married, with all his connections. This hasn't really happened, and maybe that's why she's doing these ads- more coverage.
