Are These Boots Better?

Katie Holmes stepped out in yet another jeans and boots combo today, but we're not sure how we feel about these ones. They don't really match her outfit, and though they're supposed to be worn slouched, we kinda wish they went up to her knees. What do you think about Mrs. Cruise's outfit du jour? Is it tres chic or tres fug?
