I live in the la area, and would not let my 4 year old daughter out with at least long shirt on. Of course she would love to wear a summer dress everyday, but it is my job to make sure she is dressed for the weather.

My version of the story behind these pictures: Katie wanted to leave Suri home or make her wear a sweater. The tot wanted to come along sleevless hoping to get a present in the process. So she screams and cries her head out like a normal kid. Big row in the family and finally Katie takes Suri to the shop. Suri puts on one of the Holmes and Yang dresses to show her love to mom and impress her but Katie is not amused. We can see both of them looking upset. Katie buys flowers and just a chocolate cookie for Suri so the tot is really mad. They all go to find the car but Suri has her moment: she puts her sweet little arms behind her back, smiles and promotes to the world the lovely green dress designed by mommy! So sweet! May God bless her little (big) heart!
