Katie Holmes was spotted waiting for her Mercedes at a valet in Beverly Hills this afternoon, and even though she kept herself busy with a string of text messages and e-mails, she still looked pretty bummed. Maybe it's the weather that's got her down in the dumps? Or is there something else eating away at Mrs. Tom Cruise?
While we're not sure what's contributing to her dour mood, these shots definitely took us by surprise, as this was the first time we've ever seen Katie driving by herself! The actress ALWAYS has a driver and a bodyguard with her at all times, so it seems like she's gained a little more independence as she's now allowed to roll around town solo. Or maybe she prefers being chauffeured around?
Cheer up buttercup! At least he gives you a fancy car to drive!
