Katy Perry is standing up for fellow songstress Beyonce ... saying Jay-Z's wifey did NOT lip-sync.

The "Love On Top" singer was accused of lip-syncing the National Anthem during President Obama's inauguration ceremony in Washington D.C.

We caught John Mayer's ladylove arriving home from her trip to Washington, and when asked her thoughts on Beyonce's performance, Katy told the cameras, "She didn't lip-sync."

Now THAT'S a good friend!

To keep a sexy man like John Mayer, Katy Perry knows that she has to work it sometimes!

The 28-year-old "Firework" singer enjoyed a little getaway to the Ojai Valley Inn & Spa with her rock star man. The twosome stayed for three days. Lucky, lucky!

We love how John, 35, dresses completely casual in a camouflage jacket and scarf.

As for what Katy was buying at the Rite Aid Pharmacy .... Cheetos!

Kaley Cuoco hosted the 2013 People’s Choice Awards at the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles tonight, and not surprisingly, fan favorite The Hunger Games cleaned up at the show.

The blockbuster flick took home the trophies for Favorite Movie Actress (Jennifer Lawrence), Favorite Movie, Favorite Movie Franchise, Favorite Action Movie and Favorite Onscreen Chemistry.

Katy Perry also won a plethora of awards, including Favorite Pop Artist, Favorite Female Artist, Favorite Music Video (for "Part of Me") and Favorite Music Fan Following.

One Direction won the award for Favorite Song, but stars like Justin Bieber, Selena Gomez and Demi Lovato walked away empty-handed. Maybe they'll have better luck at the Teen Choice Awards in August!

Katy Perry and John Mayer had a dinner date at Osteria Mozza in Hollywood on Friday night, and the pop star needed a little assistance from her beau when she walked out of the eatery! John held on tight to his lady love's hand, and given how comfortable they've gotten with one another in public, it looks like this relationship is better than ever.

The couple were first linked in June of 2012, and though they reportedly split in August, they were back together later that month and have been going strong since then. In November the lovebirds took a trip to Santa Barbara, and that month they also posed on the red carpet at the opening night of A Christmas Story on Broadway. She's definitely a catch! Glad to see John came to his senses...

On Friday, Katy Perry kept it moving while covered up in a dark green skirt, pattern cardigan, and large brim hat after her arriving flight landed at LAX.

The Teenage Dream singer just got back from a trip to NYC after attending the Billboard Woman of the Year luncheon, where she received top honors at the prestigious event.

“I'd thought my year was over, that it was time to pass the baton," the humble 28-year-old pop star said. "But I guess I get to hold onto it until the end of the year [laughs]. It's truly a lovely compliment. Seeing who has been honored in the past-Beyonce, Taylor Swift and others-I'm in good company.”

Katy Perry and John Mayer took a romantic getaway to Santa Barbara earlier this week, and the couple were snapped taking a tour of the Old Mission, which was founded by the Franciscan Friar Fermin de Lasuen in 1786.

Katy seemed quite excited to show her beau around her hometown, and a photographer on the scene tells X17online exclusively, "When they got to the mission, they were holding hands and laughing and when they visited the balcony of the building, they kissed a few times. It was really romantic."

"They were SO in love," our photog added. "They were all over each other the whole time, and this was a total lovers' getaway."

Think John will gift Katy with a hefty sparkler this Christmas? That would certainly help her forget about ex-husband Russell Brand!

Katy Perry and John Mayer were snapped cruising around Malibu in his black Range Rover on Sunday, and the lovebirds spent their day visiting with several friends.

While Katy seems to have found love with the serial dater, it's being reported that she's still not over her split from ex-husband Russell Brand. After an awkward run-in at the Lakers game the other day, a source tells Heat magazine, "She's not ready to make nice in public. They are friends and talk on the phone now and then - but she still feels majorly let down by him."

But since she's with someone new, don't you think she should move on?
