Careful girl! We wouldn't want you to end up like Spencer's little sister!
Though she didn't pound back shots and stumble out of the party wasted, we were a little worried to see Katy Perry getting behind the wheel after clearly sipping a Heineken (or two!) at a bash in Hollywood this weekend.
But if it was just a beer or two is it a big deal?

X17 really shouldn't make something out of nothing. They don't know how much she drank. Also people drive all of the time after having a couple of beers or glasses of wine. Unless the law changed to zero tolerance you can drink and drive within the legal limits.
do you know a lot of people who go to a party and drink "just a beer or two"?
for people drinking a little more than that, it can be a very big deal if they get in an accident, even if they're not at fault, police is likely to check all the drivers involved

A couple of beers won't put her over the limit. As if the owners of X17 have never had a couple glasses of wine at a restaurant they drove to.
Don't want to dive into the murky waters of libel, now do we? ;) That said, a single beer can and does affect your driving and judgement, legal limit be damned. And Perry is known for having a "healthy" party attitude, so I doubt she held it back to "only" one beer. So, tread lightly, Ms. Perry! Your private-life image has been relatively clean since you've become famous. A DUI arrest can change that in an instant.
