Katy Perry Scores The Most MTV VMA Nominations

No one can deny ... 2011 is Katy Perry's year. The sexy "E.T." singer has scored nine MTV Video Music Award nominations. Holla!
Russell Brand's wifey has been nominated in the following categories: Best Pop Video, Best Collaboration, Best Special Effects, Best Direction and the song "Firework" has nabbed a nom for Video of the Year.
Coming in a close second for the most nominations ... "Rolling in the Deep" diva Adele.
The 21-year-old singer has been nominated for seven awards including Video of the Year, Best Pop Video and Best Female Video.
