Katy Perry And Russell Brand Deny Separation Rumors

Katy Perry, 26, and hubby Russell Brand, 36, are once again vigorously denying rumors of a failing romance.
An article in Heat magazine quoted Katy as saying, "We're thinking of taking a break from our marriage. I'm worried it could be the end of the road for us."
But Perry took to Twitter Monday to refute the story, Tweeting:
- "Just cause we don't flaunt our relationship doesn't mean there's something wrong w/it. Privacy is our luxury. #tabloidsrtrash #gossipisgross."
Brand followed soon after, referencing the much-talked-about News of the World scandal in his Tweet.
- "You tell em Mrs Brand! In Britain we're currently dismantling the scum media so I'm not tuned in to their brain-farting."
The two married in October 2010 after about a year of dating and have spent much of their time speaking out against break-up rumors. In April, Perry reportedly sued Australian magazine AW over a story claiming that she had cheated on Brand with a music producer.
Maybe if Katy and Russell didn't keep acknowledging the false gossip, it wouldn't get so much attention!

In an interview with Piers Morgan earlier this year, Brand talked about whether he'd cheat during his marriage. Said Brand, who is now sober but spent years struggling with addiction:
- "I take it one step at a time - like with drugs, like with alcohol. Don't look at things as in 'rest of life' ... Of course marriage is for life and that's what I wanted but anything for the rest of life can be daunting."
