Katy Perry's Parents Comment On Divorce From Russell Brand

Following reports that Russell Brand mocked Katy Perry's family and their religious beliefs, her parents, Keith and Mary Hudson, have spoken out about her split from the British comedian.
The Hudsons, who are Christian pastors, recently spoke to their Church on the Rise congregation in Westlake, Ohio for the first time since it was announced that Katy and Russell were calling it quits. "I'm sure Katy is trending on the internet just to get you to church tonight," Mary joked. "I mean all over the world, who knows how God is bringing them in? The most important thing is you are here and God wants to put the fire in you in 2012."
Keith told the crowd, "I love my daughter and I will always love her. Stop being judgmental and critical. Do not close the doors to your loved ones, especially your children. Just because they do not like what you do or what you are, they are still praying that you stay in the race. They are counting on you. I believe in God, for every one of my children."
As far as Russell ridiculing Katy's parents, a source told The Sun, "Russ was forever making lewd jokes at the dinner table and poking fun at her parents' beliefs. He managed to restrain himself in the beginning, [but] as the marriage progressed, he got worse and kept winding up her family."

Did Katy's Christian parents abuse her as a child? Because Christians are well known for that behavior.
She's a petty little wimp letting her mommy and daddy speak for her.. Grow up and tell them to shut up.. God isn't listening to you or them for you forgive and forget and move on with your life.. embrace you are double minded and a backstabber.. or keep silent and let it be an example of how foolish and vain you are.. rebelling with a white flag behind your back and ready to run and hide when you are called out on it.
Number 1: Russell should have more RESPECT for someone than to trash talk them at any dinner. Number 2: Christians forgive anyone for anything. That is the reason they are ok with her career. She can be half naked with pointy things dangling off her nipples and they will just "pray" that she will turn her life around. Then when she falls of the charts and no one likes her music any more, her parents will know FOR SURE (LOL) that their "praying to god for her" worked. Its how any christians roll. Think about it, be a christian and you can do whatever your lil ol heart desires and be forgiven or your loved ones will be forgiven and still get into heaven. But lets not forget my Number 1 point that Russell should show some respect even though we all know religion is a bunch of bullshi*!
