We were stunned to learn that Clive Davis came out as bisexual in his new memoir The Soundtrack of My Life, but apparently Kelly Clarkson is more shocked over his claims that she threw a hissy fit over production on her debut album!

Kelly wrote on her WhoSay blog, “So I just heard Clive Davis is releasing a memoir and spreading false information about me and my music. I refuse to be bullied and I just have to clear up his memory lapses and misinformation for myself and for my fans. It feels like a violation. Growing up is awesome because you learn you don’t have to cower to anyone – even Clive Davis.”

The singer added, “First, he says I burst into “hysterical sobbing” in his office when he demanded ‘Since You Been Gone’ be on my album. Not true at all. His stories and songs are mixed up. I did want more guitars added to the original demo and Clive did not. Max, Luke and I still fought for the bigger sound and we prevailed and I couldn’t be more proud of the life of that song. I resent him dampening that song in any way."

Davis countered Kelly's claims with the following statement on Twitter:

"As anyone who has read The Soundtrack of My Life knows, I think Kelly Clarkson is a tremendous vocal talent and performer. In the book, I provide an in-depth look at our years together during which we shared major multi-platinum success, as well as a few creative differences. I am truly very sorry that she has decided to take issue with what I know to be an accurate depiction of our time together.

Before the book was published, I had every fact checked with five independent individuals who were present on a daily basis throughout it all," he wrote in his response to the American Idol singer's claims. "The chapter as it is written was thoroughly verified by each and every one of them. I stand by the chapter as written in my book. At the same time I wish, and will always wish, Kelly's talent and her career to soar to ever new heights."

The two incredible singers will be performers at the 57th Presidential Inauguration.

The newly engaged American Idol winner wrote the following on Facebook, “Excited & honored to announce that I’ll be performing “America (My Country ‘Tis of Thee)” at the 57th Presidential Inauguration on Jan. 21!”

As for Obama's pal Beyonce, she'll be belting out our "National Anthem." James Taylor will perform "America the Beautiful" at the festivities taking place later this month.

Kelly Clarkson is opening up about those gay rumors in Cosmopolitan's February issue.

The first American Idol winner said the following to the mag:

“People think, “Oh, she’s been single for too long.” That’s kind of an insult to the gay community. Being single doesn’t mean you’re gay. But I’m never insulted by it, obviously. I mean, I get hit on by the hottest girls ever. Oh, my god, if I were a lesbian, I would be so in luck. But it’s just not my thing. I’ve always batted for the boys’ team.”

The 30-year-old songstress recently got engaged to Brandon Blackstock. As for her engagement, Kelly added, "Brandon’s totally the one. I’ve never been so happy."

"I wanted y'all to know! Happiest night of my life last night! I am so lucky and am with the greatest man ever," the singer Tweeted.

Meanwhile ... Jessica Simpson's BFF CaCee Cobb married long-time love, Scrubs star Donald Faison. The happy couple tied the knot at pal Zach Braff's LA home. Kelly Clarkson looked bright eyed and bushy tailed while arriving at the BBC Radio 1 Studios in London to promote her latest album Greatest Hits – Chapter One.

The 30-year-old blonde songstress has just been nominated for three Grammy awards ... including Record of the Year.

When asked about how success has changed her, Kelly says:

“I’m like, completely the same! I still show up in curlers…lookin’ like a hot mess for rehearsals. I’m like ‘it’s rehearsals!’ I’m the same girl.”

The American Idol winner sure has come a long way!

Kelly Clarkson surprised her audience in Detroit by belting out Eminem's hit song "Lose Yourself."

The American Idol winner told the crowd:

“Is anyone an Eminem fan? I am an Emimen fan as well; I grew up listening to him as well. But the difference is, people, when you listen to him on the radio and sing along to him in your car, you're a lot more bad-[expletive] than you actually are."

Hardcore, indeed.

Kelly Clarkson has a boo-boo!

The original American Idol winner injured her foot so bad, she was forced to use a wheelchair on Tuesday, sharing a Twitpic with the caption: "Sprained my foot and have a hairline fracture but the show must go on people ha!"

Thankfully, the singer appeared to be in good spirits as she hobbled along on her crutches while stopping to pick out baubles at jewelry store Alisa Michelle in LA, on Friday afternoon.

Clarkson is currently serving as a judge and mentor on the singing competition show Duets, but the injury didn't stop her from appearing on the show, sitting for hair and make-up in a wheelchair while holding crutches.

The 30-year-old Grammy winner hasn't revealed what caused the injuries, but she's clearly not letting it get her down!

We spotted Kelly Clarkson grabbing lunch with a female friend at Sur in West Hollywood yesterday, and we almost didn't recognize the "Stronger" singer... she's lost so much weight!

Maybe it's because the American Idol alum is happy in love with her boyfriend? The 30-year-old brunette beauty has been dating Nashville-based talent manager Brandon Blackstock, who happens to be the stepson of country star Reba McEntire, since last year. Romance is better than Ben & Jerrys any day!

Although, apparently being in a happy relationship is bad for song writing.

"It's ruining my creativity. I'm writing all this happy [stuff]... People are going to be, like, 'What the hell happened to you.' It has been really difficult. I love it. It's an awesome problem to have," she tells People magazine.

Whether she sings depressing or upbeat songs, Miss Clarkson has a voice that will stand the test of time!
