Kelly Clarkson "Loves" Republican Ron Paul, Tweets Her Support

Kelly Clarkson isn't afraid to voice her political support. The former American Idol champ is in favor of Texas politician Ron Paul for the 2012 presidential bid.
Clarkson, 29, Tweeted:
- "I love Ron Paul. I liked him a lot during the last Republican nomination and no one gave him a chance. If he wins the nomination for the Republican party in 2012 he's got my vote. Too bad he probably won't."
A few of Clarkson's Twitter followers scoffed at her Tweet ... accusing the 76-year-old politician of homophobia and racism. In response, Kelly Tweeted, "I love all people and could care less if you like men or women. I have never heard that Ron Paul is a racist or homophobe?"
She then went on to say:
- I am really sorry if I have offended anyone. Obviously that was not my intent. I do not support racism. I support gay rights, straight rights, women's rights, men's rights, white/black/purple/orange rights. I like Ron Paul because he believes in less government and letting the people (all of us) make the decisions and mold our country. That is all. Out of all of the Republican nominees, he's my favorite."

She's got a new fan. People need to do their research and stop knocking people bc of they expresses support for someone. Ron Paul is not racist, some people wrote racist things on his behalf but that was exposed. And people don't have to like gays lifestyle. But we tolerate it. Gays have the same right as everyone else so get over it!
Ron himself said he would not vote for the Civil Rights Act if he were in the Senate at that time. That's all anyone needs to know about him.
Since when in our country you can't have a different opinion and have the freedom to state it without being attacked? I don't agree with her but I didn't agree with the Occupy people either but everyone has a right to speak freely in our country, that's what it's all about people.

Everyone is entitled to their own opinion. The last time I checked it was a free country and freedom of speech.. This country is in terrible trouble and if everyone is attacking someone for saying black, white, mixed or any other term then they need to be helped.. I am starting to wonder when the day will come when No one is allowed to say Black but only " B" without being taken to court or slandered with hate.
