I think that Kevin is doing a great job with the kids, but I have to say that it takes alot more thatn what Larry or Kevin have done to be Father of the Year. If I were a dad that had given my kidney or something to one of my kids, I would be rather pissed off about that.

I don't think Britney is a bad parent for going out to dinner on Thanksgiving. Alot of families do that. My friends didn't understand that I couldn't just up and go out anymore. It hurt, sure. I did miss being young and carefree for about a minute, but like you, I also didn't have anyone to watch my son. And the few times that people did offer, I just wanted to be with him. I lived my life. I had my fun. Now it is time to raise the kids and do it the best I can. Sure, I make mistakes. We all do. It is part of the learning process, as we all know that kids don't come with a manual.

The only problem that I see is that Britney is refusing to grow up at this point. She is holding on for that last hoorah. It is going to take a long time for her to acknowledge that these kids do need her to be their mother. i am not coming on here acting like I am perfect, but I will say tha I do take pride in how I raise my son. I am not the best mother in the world. But I give it my all. No body is perfect. Britney is human and IS allowed to make mistakes, but when those mistakes keep repeating themselves, it shows that she is not trying to learn from them at all.

I see the moral of the story being that regardless of their personal issues with one another. They have no choice but to deal with each other for the rest of their lives. They have two sons who will want their parents at their first day of school and to their sports games, and high school graduations, and their weddings. It's called putting your own selfish animosity aside for the sake of your kids' happiness in life. It's better to achieve that now than trying to push the awkwardness aside when one of those special events do come up.

I think she's having a delayed adolesence at this point, considering she worked/performed as a child, probably prevented her from having a "normal" childhood.
