Anonymous 2:43PM. That is NOT true. That was the figure that the press was saying they thougt was going to happen. Then latter on Britney decided to do the divorce before the court date since she was scared he would write a tell all book and that he would win in court, and other things of that nature.

The agreement the lawyers came up with, if Kevin would sign that he would not talk about the marriage, was he would be paid far more then the one million that was quoted in the press at first. Basically she paid him off big time if he would not say anything and would just sign the papers. That was also when he got the kids for four days a week. That is unusual since the mother is the one that gets them completely or at least the majority of the time when a divorce happens, unless the mother is considered unfit or crazy, as Britney was at that time.

But because Britney went crazy and did all the drugs and drinking and shaving her head and ended up in rehab, she ended up with a weak hand when the lawyers all got together. She apologizes in her letter on her website while she has a naked picture of herself on same website. The picture screams, "I know you want me, please have me, I want to be your sex toy, buy my CD's for sex since I can't really sing, y’all". That is not the act of someone that has had a cognitive response to life yet. That is the image of a slut mother selling herself so she can party and shop, shop, shop, all the time for herself. It is not the image of a proud mother with class who loves her kids. Believe me, when the kids are older, they will be really embarrassed as to how their mother sold herself and acted with no dignity or class, and was such a slut queen (including the bits flashing incidents).

Then she goes on by basically saying she is not blaming others for her actions. But then she spends the rest of the letter justifying her actions and blaming others in a round about way. She blames her manager (that rightfully sent her to rehab); she then takes no real responsibility for her actions but is still saying she did not have a drug or alcohol problem. She is basically saying that her problems are "everyone else that is in her life", so she has now dumped them. Strange, since those are the very people that made her rich and famous, the fame and money that she loves and wants so badly.

For the last two or three years she has now been trying to do it on her own, and without professional help, and has failed miserably (example: her 12 minute lip-synching tour of hos on parade in small clubs).

She then says she has basically cut ties with her family and friends, because they where trying to control her. Translation, they were trying to get her under control, and to stop doing drugs, drinking, neglecting her kids, marrying idiots on the spot, flashing her privates, hanging with idiots like Paris Hilton, and everything else that she did to throw her major career and money out the window (that others made for her).

Then she goes on with a "holier-than-thou" and "I have found myself" rant and wants everyone to understand. Then tries to act like she loves her kids. If she really loved her kids, and if they were so important to her, then she would not have done all the incredibly stupid and destructive things in the last two or three years that IS going to come back to her and her children when they are grown up. They are already going to be messed up because of her awful attitude toward them. And yet you can see that she does not love them but has everyone else carry them around while she shops for herself all the time.

But the most important point to mention is, SHE DID NOT WRITE THAT LETTER. We all know how she writes y’all. She does not even know how to write half of the big words that are in that letter (and they aren't that big). She is to busy running around and acting crazy to be able to think with that much depth. And the letter is not that deep either. Her handlers wrote it. It was probably Ally, and Ally was probably laughing while she wrote it.

They are just trying to do the usual damage control. And as usual, the few Shitney fans that defend her and leave their pathetic defensive responses about her on this site, care far more about Britney then all the damage Britney has done to others, and keeps doing, ESSPECIALLY TO HER CHILDREN. They will grow up really messed up because of her.

If she goes away for good, and then raises her babies with real love, and can give instead of take (instead of the usual me, me, me, and look at me attitude she has), then we can believe her statements, but not until then. She has no career left; she has completely destroyed it. The only career that she has now is her kids, she needs to make good of it and go away for a few years and raise them the right way, and be a real mother for a change. That is the most important career a parent should have, and the proudest.

May she continue to distance herself from everybody forever, her sons included. May she die very sad and lonely with a lot of money and stuff mixed into that horrible sad and lonely feeling she so wonderful at creating for herself.

BRITNEY FANS! You are letting your emotions get the better of you, and you are not seeing the real Britney here. It is understandable that people would have compassion for someone that is down. That is normal. But in Britney's case, she is a very selfish, self-absorbed individual, that thinks she is gods gift to humanity. She does NOT care about anyone at all. That is why she is suffering.

You act like she is some poor soul that is a good caring person that has had it rough. That is not the case. She screws people over all the time for her own selfish needs then Karma comes back to her and bites her on the ass. If you go around stealing other women’s men when they are 7 months pregnant, and never even apologize for it, and do many other majorly selfish things like that on a regular basis, then that is what you will get back.

What you are doing is only looking at what has happened to her. You are not looking at what she has done to others before it came back to her. It is kind of like someone robbing a bank. Then while they are robbing the bank they end up shooting someone in the bank that they may have not planned to shoot when they started the robbery. Then latter you try to justify it by saying it was an accident and they did not mean it. Or saying it was the persons fault that got shot because they should not have been in there when the bank was being robbed, and then feeling sympathy for the robber after they are caught.

The point is that all the things that have happened to Britney is because SHE made them happen by selfish greed. Your feeling sorry for her only shows that you do not look at the rotten acts she does to others, but only what happens to her. In other words, you feel sorry for the perpetrator and not the true victim in the crime. Britney is getting what she deserves from what she has done. When she starts to treat people fairly and starts to act intelligent and not do all the stupid and selfish things she does every day, then she will deserve a break.

She is the cause of her own problems. And she has not become humble yet, and is not taking responsibility yet. Re-read her letter on her website again and you will see. Her letter is just a selfish justification of her actions; it is not a true apology or attempt to make up for the damage done. In most of the letter she still blames others for her mistakes and basically says she has thrown everyone out of her life so she can be RIGHT! Still the same Britney.

The reason most people are putting her down is because most people have a sense of responsibility and can see right from wrong. And they don't approve of someone like Spears being so selfish and gross, and harming her kids, and everyone else around her, especially when she has had it so good, and is very rich now. There have been many successful child stars that turned out great and did not do the things she does. So that is not an excuse to be crazy and selfish to the point she is being. And by the way, SHE DID NOT WRITE THAT LETTER!

If Spears wants people to like her then she needs to change and clean up her act. People don't have to like her or support her at all, that is their right to voice their opinions of someone like Britney who is out of control. If people start to support her and society starts to feel sorry for people like that then there will be no ethics standards and the planet will fall to shit in a short while, kind of like it is already because of people like you that sympathize with criminals and crazies. But the most important part about the Spears situation is the fact that she is hurting two small children (babies actually) because she is far more interested in her "career" and herself, and shopping, etc. That is not something people forgive very quickly, and they should not.

The thing I find most interesting about your posts is the fact that you want to protect Britney and defend Britney and only see her side, but nowhere in your post do you defend her children or all the people she has screwed over (her kids, her boyfriends, her husbands, her family, her fans, her managers, the industry, other guys she has gone to bed with that had wives or girlfriends, such as the black guy she went to bed with who she knew was married (and the wife had just had a baby), obviously the guy was pure shit himself for what he did, but that does not give Britney license to do it, and then of course everyone else she screws over out of selfish reasons then takes no responsibility for it). She does it out of selfish egotistical reasons. But she is not very bright so it comes back to her latter and bites her hard.

All you sympathize with is Britney. Your sympathies are misplaced. Britney is living the Karma that she deserves and has created on her own. That will change when she changes, and only then. She has not changed yet, just watch her for the next few weeks. Your sympathies for her only make things worse in an already bad situation that "she" has created.
