Kiefer Sutherland Released From Jail

After serving 48 days on DUI charges, Kiefer Sutherland was released from jail just after midnight.
Officer Robert Breckinridge spoke to the media about Sutherland's release last night, informing assembled reporters that the actor had been picked up after having served his sentence.
Breckinridge had nothing but kind words for Sutherland's behavior in the big house, describing him as an "excellent inmate" who "didn't cause any problems" during his tenure in jail.
The officer also confirmed reports that Sutherland worked on a laundry detail.
Breckinridge was, however, quick to point out that Sutherland didn't receive any special treatment while inside - although he did admit that the actor got a cell to himself, the officer told reporters that Kiefer's jail had no segregated facility.
That means Jack Bauer survived nearly two months in general population!
We're sure Kiefer's elated to be home from the hoosegow - after all, he missed Christmas, New Years, and his 41st birthday while he was behind bars!

Well, he took responsibility for his actions and is a real stand up guy. Not to mention that he's hot, sexy and one of the best actors of my generation. You go Kiefer! There are many others who could learn from him. Glad to hear he's out.

I am glad he served his time and did it like a big boy. He didn't give anyone any shit. He just did as he was told. He is one of the better ones. He takes responsibility for his actions and he he one hot looking dude. I can't wait to see the new season of 24. He is always hot. Just needs a bit of a tan now that he is out of jail.
Kudo's to Kiefer. He's got talent, brains, the son of a Hollywood legend, and we're all very proud of him for doing the time for his crime and not belly-ackin about it. Kiefer, you rock!!!
Kiefer is a great guy. He's not the spoiled Hollywood type,
he did his time without any fanfare or complaints.
He's one of the last of the good guys.
how many times will he drink and jump behind the wheel a car before he finally kills someone or causes someone to be a vegetable before takes the hint?
How much hate mail did he get from MADD MOMS against drunk drivers when he was in Jail? He got off easy with 2 prior DUIs.
Why would he cry, when he paid for his hotel suite at The New State of the Art Glendale Jail and had a paid bodyguard watching over him. His doctor came to put a cigarette patch on him every day & His lawyer came to read his mail. They do have TV, computers and a library for the inmates, they do have card games and chess.
What lesson did he learn from any of this. We should hold the Judge responsible if he kills someone next time.
