Kim Kardashian has such a big heart!
The Keeping Up with the Kardashians star recently donated $50,000 to The Trevor Project, an organization that provides suicide prevention services for lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender youth.
Kim raised the money during a September 11 fundraiser at the Cantor Fitzgerald offices in NYC, which was held to mark the 10th anniversary of the tragedy. Kardashian wrote on her blog of the charity:
- "The firm lost more than 600 employees in the 9/11 attacks on the World Trade Center in 2001 and on the 10th anniversary of the attacks, they donated all revenues from their trades to charities around the world. I was honored to take part!"
Ben Stiller, Daniel Radcliffe, Karolina Kurkova, Petra Nemcova and Erin Andrews also took part in the fundraiser, which had celebrity brokers conduct real trades with the firm’s clients -- assisted by a licensed trader. The fundraiser has raised $65 million to date.
Celebrities including Glee's Kevin McHale, Daniel Radcliffe, Adam Lambert and Kathy Griffin also joined Kim in supporting The Trevor Project for LGBT youth.
