Kristen Gets Into Character

I KNOW she's playing a badass rock star in her latest film, but is picking up a filthy habit like smoking really a part of method acting? I ADORE Kristen Stewart, and while I understand some celebs sneak a cig every once in a while, I really wish she wouldn't light up! Then again, I guess Rob wouldn't really notice when he kisses her, as he enjoys a ciggie every now and then too!
And it does make her an even more believable Joan Jett...but still!

If you look at old pictures of Joan when she was in the Runaways, that's how Joan wore her hair. Since Kristen is playing Joan, she had her hair cut and dyed like Joan's was in the 70s.
she looks incredible as usual- rocking the joan jett look, im so excited about htis movie i fink it could totally be a serious award contender-she has the talent and the look down so hopefully the actual screen play is good.
this could be Oscar material for both her and Dakota

It takes a certain skill to look good smoking. Kristen doesn't have it. Yet. She should study Jennifer Connolly in Mulholland Falls, for example.

I saw it. First she's running like a girly-girl (I sincerely doubt Joan Jett runs like that), then she trips and almost does a face plant. Ouch! Kristen needs to lay off the weed before engaging in any activity which requires coordination - LOL
The movie will be a flippidy flop flop flop. Joan Jett was a flop and so will the movie be. "Heart"; Ann and Nancy Wilson's rock group was way better; better music and better singers.
Yeah and so was Pat Benatar, Debbie Harry ( Blondie ) and Ricky Lee Jones.
There were a few other female singers in bands as well. All better than Joan Jett.
How about Joni Mitchell or The Pretenders, they had a good female lead singer, also better than Joan Jett.
