Robsten: From New Moon To Nouveau Grunge
Posted on Tue Aug 11, 2009 02:50 PM PDT
Does fashion imitate film? Or is it the other way around? In our latest episode of Celebrity Street Style, we look at how Kristen and Rob's roles in the moody mega hit Twilight have bled over into their real lives.
But it's not just the subject matter that's infected their style! Shooting in and around the Pacific Northwest, Robsten have been majorly influenced by grunge, the style born in Seattle in the 90s.
Kurt & Courtney 2.0?
Well, I wouldn't go that far, but take a look!

oooh boring...so 1990s...lol
Kurt & Courtney 2.0? what a joke. they are kids who wear what "real people" wear. just because she doesn't wear stupid turquoise mini dresses, and he doesn't wear hipster dude Tshirts and affected jeanswear, doesn't mean anything other than they are comfortable and plain. Kurt and Courtney... you should feel embarrassed!

i disagree, they have great style.. i think their style is just more casual than other celebrities
Anonymous I totally agree with you. I go to the store sometimes looking like kristen stewart and shitty jeans, shirt and converse, and that doesn't make me,or nobody ever would label me Kurt Cobain/Courtney Love number two. Plus x17online don't ever compare Kurt and Courtney to these two shit heads. It's just normal shitty clothes. I agree just because your not wearing a Chanel glittery gown for a coffee run means your "grunge". Plus kristen stewart fucking pisses me off she tries to hard to act like shes too cool
FOCK THE LABELS!!!!
FOCK FASHION!!! FASHION IS STUPID AND RIDICULOUS. SO SUPERFICIAL AND CRETIN. LABELS AND FASHION = RACISM, DISCRIMINATION, CRITICS, BEING SNOB, BELIEVING YOU ARE ALL-THAT, THAT YOU CAN JUDGE SOMEBODY ONLY BY THEIR LOOK, ACTING BITCHY AND BELIEVE THAT IT IS SEXY AND IT'S NOT... ANYWAY FASHION IS SHIT.
i agree with the comment above. you can also say fashion = hollywood kingdom of fakeness, superficiality and plastic surgeries.
I HATE this "new grunge" thing! You can't bring back grunge, certainly not in this superficial way. Grunge is about music, not clothes. So until there's a revival of grunge music, it should stay as a sweet memory in the 90s. Let it be and don't mention it again in that kind of way.
Sorry, when did laziness become news? There are times when I click on a link and think, someone actually spent time to compose a paragraph and slide show about this? Now, I'm all for snaps of Rob, but to paraphrase Animal House, dirty, slovenly, and stupid is no way to go through life...
