Popularized by Laguna Hills star Kristin Cavallari in the MTV hit series, this hairstyle was characterized by an exaggerated comb-over worn mainly by young women with long, stringy hair. The part would necessarily be no less than 1/3 of the way down the side of the tween's head and the resulting diagonal line of hair across the face would be a constant source of annoyance to its wearer while at the same time being used alternately to hide one's face or to fling around while flirting with boys.
