Lady Gaga attended the "It's Our Turn" conference at a Los Angeles high school yesterday, and the pop star chatted with host Maria Shriver and dozens of young women about everything from being bullied to her battle with bulimia.

Gaga told the audience, "I used to throw up all the time in high school. So I’m not that confident. I wanted to be a skinny little ballerina but I was a voluptuous little Italian girl whose dad had meatballs on the table every night. I used to come home and say, ‘Dad, why do you always give us this food? I need to be thin.’ And he’d say, ‘Eat your spaghetti.’ It’s really hard, but you’ve got to talk to somebody about it." Gaga added, "It made my voice bad, so I had to stop. The acid on your vocal chords — it’s very bad."

The Grammy winner continued, "Weight is still a struggle. Every video I’m in, every magazine cover, they stretch you - they make you perfect. It’s not real life. I’m gonna say this about girls: The dieting wars have got to stop. Everyone just knock it off. Because at the end of the day, it’s affecting kids your age. And it’s making girls sick."

As for being bullied, Gaga said, "I started having trouble with girls in middle school. I always knew that I wanted to do something very career oriented, and I always wanted to be a musician. That alone set me apart. I had such strong convictions and I was pretty delusional, in the same way that I am now … in wanting to change the world and end bullying in America and do whatever I can to promote peace around the world. It might sound kind of silly coming from someone in red lipstick with a bunch of jewels on my jacket. But that’s just the way I have always been. Being excluded is painful."

Lady Gaga is ready to hit the road once again for a brand new tour ... the Born This Way Ball.

The eccentric singer released the tour poster via Twitter, and we're lovin' those neon touches. Is that Zombie Boy peaking out one of the castle windows? Spooky.

Lady Gaga may be an international superstar, but that doesn't mean she can't rough it at her boyfriend's tiny beach house once in awhile!

The Lady was spotted looking comfy in a black oversized tee, dark shades, and her blond hair tucked in a bun, while watching Vampire Diaries star Taylor Kinney do the laundry and pick up some groceries around his California pad, on MLK Day.

An X17 photographer on the scene tells us:

"Gaga and her boyfriend seemed happy -- they were just living simply. It's like she's this rich, successful mega-star and all she really wants is a simple life."

The "Bad Romance" singer usually stays mum on her personal life, but she gushed about Kinney back in September, "You know I don’t talk about my love life, but I’m very happy."

Gaga was seen house hunting in her beau's hometown in Pennsylvania, and is reportedly interested in a $1.7 million dollar property that caught her eye. Pack your bags, Taylor!

What appears to be an alien phoning home, is actually just Lady Gaga in one of her many eccentric-chic ensembles, heading to an NYE celebration with her new beau after performing in NYC's Time Square at midnight.

Gaga donned pure white to welcome 2012, choosing a Stephane Rolland Fall 2010 Couture mini dress with a matching white cape, white Christian Louboutin 'Daffodile' pumps and a string of pearls for her New Year's after-party, which included a rowdy private celebration for A-list friends at her NYC restaurant, Joanne's.

It's recently been reported that Gaga is planning to move in with the Vampire Diaries star, and the pair were even spotted checking out posh pads in and around her native New York, and Pennsylvania.

The singer, who usually keeps her love life under wraps, met Kinney on the set of her You and I music video (he played her love interest!) and they've been inseparable ever since.

Lady Gaga will be busy this New Year's Eve ... dropping the Waterford Crystal ball in New York's Times Square.

The "Born The Way" singer has been selected by Mayor Bloomberg to head the efforts. Seems as though everyone loves Gaga!

Lady G will also be performing on ABC's Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve With Ryan Seacrest 2012.

Previous celebrities who have been selected to drop the ball have included Muhammad Ali, Colin Powell and Bill and Hillary Clinton. Looks like Gaga is in good company.

Lady Gaga, Justin Bieber and George Clooney are among the top 20 celebrities that made the cut for this year's Celebs Gone Good list ... courtesy of DoSomething.org.

The "Born This Way" singer, who spent a large portion of this year fighting against bullying, created the Born This Way Foundation in an effort to empower youth. For years, Lady G has also contributed to AIDS awareness, battling poverty and supporting gay rights.

Justin Bieber, 17, focused on the organization Pencils of Promise which to date has built 41 schools in Nicaragua, Guatemala and Laos. Biebs has agreed to donate a portion of the proceeds earned from his perfume sales, as well as sales generated from his holiday album Under The Mistletoe. The "Baby" singer is also involved with several other charities including Make-A-Wish Foundation, Toronto's Daily Bread Food Bank and Children's Wish Foundation.

As for George Clooney, he gained recognition for his advocacy of human rights in Sudan.

Lady Gaga's former assistant, Jennifer O'Neill, has filed a lawsuit claiming she was not paid for overtime that accumulated during her 13 months of employment with the singer.

In the lawsuit, O'Neill states that part of her job included "ensuring the promptness of a towel following a shower and serving as a personal alarm clock to keep [Lady Gaga] on schedule."

O'Neill claims she is owed $380,000 in overtime. The legal papers also state that the assistant was at Gaga's beck and call in "stadiums, private jets, fine hotel suites, yachts, ferries, trains and tour buses."

Although the lawsuit mentions Gaga, she is not the defendant. The lawsuit is between O'Neill and Mermaid Touring Company ...the company Lady G uses for her concerts.

Gaga's rep tells the NY Post that the lawsuit is "completely without merit."

Lady Gaga stopped by The Ellen DeGeneres Show on Wednesday to chat about various topics, including acting and homelessness, before giving an exclusive performance of her new hit, “Marry The Night.”

Gaga reveals her dream acting role "would to be in a Woody Allen movie or something. That would sort of be my dream…" Woody, are you listening?

The "Poker Face" singer also revealed why she chooses to stay "homeless":

"I’m a gypsy, ya know. I can’t plan my life out like that so much. Than I think well, gosh what a waste of money to buy a place and I’m on the road. Even though it might not seem like a big deal because I’m a pop singer or whatever it still hurts to write a check. It’s a lot of money."

Gaga adds:

"We were laughing; everybody was laughing because when I signed my tax returns this year. I had to get completely wasted. They were just holding me up. It’s unbelievable."
