Adele And Lady Gaga Lead American Music Awards Nominations

The nominees for the 39th annual American Music Awards were announced today, and British singer Adele leads the way with four nominations, followed by Lady Gaga, Taylor Swift, Lil Wayne, Katy Perry, Rihanna with three apiece.
Adele will face off against Lady Gaga, Perry, Lil Wayne and Swift for the Artist of the Year category, and Perry and Pit Bull are confirmed as performers.
The AMAs will be held on November 20 at the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles, and they will air live on ABC. Click after the jump for the complete list of nominees!
