Lady Gaga On Amy Winehouse's Death: "I'm Really Sad"

Lady Gaga reacted to Amy Winehouse's death on Saturday via Twitter, and Tuesday she spoke about the star's passing in person.
Gaga stopped by LA's 97.1 AMP Radio for a morning interview with Carson Daly, where a somber-faced Gaga told X17 she was "really sad" about Winehouse's death (watch our video above).
Inside the studio, the topic came up again. Gaga told Daly she used to get mistaken for Winehouse.
- “I was nobody when she was first coming out. I have really dark hair and all the time on the street people would go, ‘Amy!’ ... They’d scream at me. I loved her and I just remember feeling like I wasn’t alone because she was so different and she was so special. ... it’s a lesson to the world: Don’t kill the superstar. Take care of her. Take care of her soul."
Gaga also reminisced about her teenage years and being a fan of Daly's MTV show Total Request Live. See which star she went to Times Square, where the show filmed, to see when she was just 13 ...
Gaga told Daly that when she was “12, 13, 14″ she went to Times Square to see Justin Timberlake and Britney Spears!
Her signs, Gaga said, read: “‘I love you, Justin.’ ‘ I love you, Carson.’ ‘Marry Me, Carson.’ I was always very jealous because Britney was up there with you and we were like ‘We love Carson please let us upstairs!’”
Gaga also performed several songs live on Daly's radio show. She wore a blue outfit with Christian Louboutin shoes.

Gaga's not saying that she looks like Amy because Amy just died. She said in an interview years ago that she dyed her hair blonde when she came into the music scene because people used to tease her as Amy. So to get rid of that, she dyed her hair and wore wigs.
