Lady Gaga's latest album Born This Way will not be on store shelves in Lebanon. Numerous online reports claim the country's government has confiscated numerous shipments of the album because of "insults to Christianity" and "bad taste."
The song "Judas" has been banned from the radio airwaves. Bill Donohue, the Catholic League President had issued the following statement regarding the controversial track:
- "This is a stunt... Lady Gaga tries to continue to shock Catholics and Christians in general: she dresses as a nun... she swallows the rosary. She has now morphed into a caricature of herself."
The government in Malaysia has also banned the song "Born This Way," according to Metro UK. Read Gaga's response ... after the jump.
Gaga said the following:
- "What I would say is for all the young people in Malaysia that want those words to be played on the radio, it is your job and it is your duty as young people to have your voices heard."
