Lady Gaga To Perform At MTV Video Music Awards

Lady Gaga's doing nothing but surprising us this week.
First she released her "Yoü and I" music video two days early (and via Twitter!), and now it's been announced that she will perform at the MTV Video Music Awards on Sunday, August 28.
This Thursday, Gaga will make a special announcement about the VMAs and tease her awards' show promo during the special "MTV First: Lady Gaga," airing at 7:49 p.m. ET on MTV and Logo. It will also be the television premiere of her "Yoü and I" video.
The 2011 MTV VMAs will air live from Los Angeles' Nokia Theatre at 9 p.m. ET August 28.
Other performers already slated to perform at the VMAs include Adele, Bruno Mars, Chris Brown, Lil Wayne and Young the Giant. MTV says continue to announce more performers and presenters in the next few days.
