Despite the fact that she released her first album 9 months ago, Lana Del Rey has revealed in a new interview with Australian Vogue that she wants to break out in the film industry.

"When I was starting, I had a vision of being a writer for film and that's what I am doing now. I'm so happy," Lana told the mag. "Hopefully I will branch into film work and stay there. That will be my happy place. I'd like to stay in one place for a long time."

Del Rey also revealed that she often feels uncomfortable when onstage. "I love to take care of the songs – that's my natural place – then, when I get on stage that's not my element. Sometimes I kneel down because I am trembling or touch the audience because I don’t know what else to do." Well that would explain a lot!

Wonder what her first screenplay will be about?

The indie princess, Lana Del Rey, was greeted by fans outside Chateau Marmont Saturday, where she graciously posed for photos and gave autographs.

Lana recently caught the eye of another famous "fan" -- Courtney Love. The Hole singer Tweeted at Del Rey after the young songstress performed the Nirvana tune "Heart-Shaped Box" at a show in Australia, writing: "You do know the song is about my Va**na right? 'Throw down your umbilical noose so i can climb right back,' umm… On top of which some of the lyrics about my va**na I contributed. So umm next time you sing it, think about my va**na will you?

Ms. Love later deleted the comments and posted this: "You are gorgeous and very talented, it was all in good humor love, it is true however bwahaa xc."

Lana Del Rey is at it again!

The "Video Games" singer just released the music video for her latest song "Summertime Sadness," and we have a feeling she was aiming to stir up some controversy! The music montage features Hart of Dixie actress and model Jaime King as the singer's suicidal girlfriend!

Directed by King's husband Kyle Newman, the video was also put together with the help of none other than Magic Mike star Alex Pettyfer!

We're not sure it's our favorite song from the New Yorker, but it's still amazing!

Last night Lindsay Lohan, Lady Gaga and Lana Del Rey had a "slumber party" at the Chateau Marmont, and a source close to the threesome tells X17online exclusively that they were "watching old movies and playing board games." No partying or trashing their room? My, how they've grown up!

It was Lohan who brought the ladies together because she stays at the hotel so much, and our source tells us, "The three of them had dinner in the garden on Tuesday night at Chateau, and then Lindsay and Gaga ran upstairs to play dress up and came down in different outfits." Apparently that's how they all became friends and decided to hang out, and we're not sure what this means, but Lilo tweeted, "#skinnysnack1‬ @ladygaga hahaha."

Given their love of tattoos, bad boys and fashion, we're sure the girls had plenty to talk about! Think we'll be seeing more of the new BFFs out and about in Hollywood? Here's to hoping!

The ever-mysterious Lana Del Rey may have been transfixed by a very important call, but she still managed to flash a few picture prefect poses as she glided down a Beverly Hills sidewalk in jeans and a vintage-style peach blouse, on Wednesday afternoon.

Del Rey has had an extremely busy summer playing sold out shows in New York, LA, England and Switzerland -- and that's just within the past two weeks! The "Video Games" singer is gearing up to make her way Down Under next weekend, where she'll play five shows back-to-back.

Lana later made her way to famed Hollywood haunt, Chateau Marmont, where she was kind enough to let a random fan pet her hair -- check it out in our video below!

Lana Del Rey kept is simple in black jeans, a crisp button up and white moccasin loafers while out shopping in Beverly Hills.

The songstress, rocking sexy long locks and a fresh face, arrived at Maxfield to pick up some new duds.

Looks like the 26-year-old singer is putting her money to good use. Cha-ching!

Lana Del Rey has released the music video for "National Anthem" and the 26-year-old singer goes retro glam in the new clip, which also features rapper A$AP Rocky. Lana plays a Jackie O-like character, while Rocky portrays President John F. Kennedy. Sounds confusing, especially since Lana serenades Rocky a la Marilyn Monroe in the beginning, but it'll make a bit more sense when you watch it...

“Every so often, I top what I’ve done, and this video is definitely the most beautiful thing I’ve ever done,” Lana has said of this music vid.

Lana Del Rey performed her third and final concert at the El Rey theatre in LA last night, where she debuted her new song "Body Electric." The 25-year-old singer celebrated her sold out show with an after party at the Chateau Marmont, where she rocked a 60's-inspired coif and a white mini dress.

Minka Kelly, Jamie King, Frieda Pinto, Jason Statham and Rosie Huntington-Whitely were just a few of the celebrities who came out to watch the soulful New York native belt out her hits, and it seems Miss Rey is really developing a fan following!

Twitter was flooded with glowing reviews, and critics gave overwhelming positive feedback of her live singing skills.

Don't call it a comeback, she was never gone!
