After a long and emotional battle, Larry Birkhead has finally been united with his baby Dannielynn, who's the spitting image of her father! Larry opened up to OK! in an exclusive interview about being a single parent, his relationship with Anna Nicole and his feelings on Howard K. Stern.
In OK!, Larry reveals:
Larry and Anna had chosen baby names
Prior to Daniel’s death, Larry and Anna has said they would name the baby Annabella or Marilyn Nicole after Marilyn Monroe if it was a girl and Niko if it was a boy.
Anna and Larry talked about getting married
Anna said to Larry, “I don’t want to be a single parent and do this all over again like with Daniel,” and Larry tells OK! “At one point she wanted me to get her a wedding ring. We’d talked about getting married a few times but when she found out she was pregnant I said it probably wasn’t a good idea just because you found out you are pregnant. I didn’t want to do it for the wrong reasons, I just wanted to make sure it was right. But, I went out and got a ring and she wore it."
Anna miscarried Larry’s child in February 2005
Anna was trying to get pregnant again with Larry’s child
We talked about it early on in the relationship and once we did try but it wasn’t successful. We said at some point we were going to try again, and now there’s Dannielynn
Anna went to the Bahamas because ‘people’ told her Larry was going to try to get sole custody because there was "tension over all the medications she was taking"
In the last email Anna sent Larry three days before giving birth to Dannielynn she said, “Don’t fall in love again, I’d be a bit jealous.’
Unlikely ally Howard has been giving Larry advice on Dannielynn
"Everyone’s been really helpful, actually, even Howard’s been helpful. It seems unlikely to most, but he’s been a great help. He’s just really tuned me in because he’s been with Dannielynn the last several months, he knows her likes and dislikes and things like that that could help me out. He also gives me credit when I’m doing good things and he gives me tips on things I should do a little bit different and I welcome everybody’s input."

Larry doesn’t solely blame Howard, he even told OK! “I actually feel sorry for Howard” and “At this point you can’t worry about all that stuff too much. You know, it happened, and, it wasn’t necessarily…People blame a lot on him but Anna had her own mind too. She had a choice and we were arguing and that’s what happens.”
Larry never doubted he was the father, but he tells OK! in court the day of the announcement was the first day he was nervous because it felt like the Academy Awards with the judge holding the envelope.
Larry said he thought Zsa Zsa Gabor’s husband coming forth as the father was so funny he’d “pop popcorn and sit in front of the television when he’d come on just to laugh at him.”
Howard has agreed that when you work things out he’ll just hand her over for you to take to LA?
"In the end of this, he’s the one who’s become on my side, my ally. I’m not saying Vergie is my enemy, but as long as we can define what everybody wants and be clear and be truthful. If she wants a grandmother, she can be a grandmother, my mom wants to be a grandmother too, but I’m not going to sign a paper saying so, it’s just not right." Stay tuned.
Will you let Howard visit the baby once you move back to LA or Kentucky or wherever?
"Let me say this, I think certain people have done things not because they wanted to, but because they were asked. I don’t hold Howard 100% responsible. I think some things happened there and whatever reasons he said that, it’s fine. There’s been a lot of hurt and heartache and right now my main goal is transitioning Dannielynn to me from him and he’s been great, and he’s been helpful and he’s been supportive, which does show me that he does have good inside of him regardless of what people are out there saying. Howard did things for Anna that no one wanted to do. I actually feel sorry for Howard."

Wow seems like a classy guy to me! Not many people would be able to not only forgive howard for what he has done but have him on his side. That says a lot about a person. He just wans what is best for his little girl and i do not believe he is out for anything else.
Well Larry said the same thing I've been saying all along. Anna asked for Howard's help and he kept his promise to her.

Dannielynn is absolutley gorgeous. I wish Anna was alive to see how beautiful her daughter is, but she is watching her from above anyway.
I don't know that I'd say she's watching her from above... Something still just doesn't settle well with me to think of her in Heaven. Maybe she is, but I just don't see it! (I don't see hell either. She wasn't bad enough to deserve that. Cho from VaTech...now THERE'S someone who bought a one way ticket to hell... Two different kinds of aweful people.)
Either way, it's good to see that SOME things are starting to happen so that some of this stuff can be put behind all of us. I'm kinda sick of all of this and am ready to get new news stories.

He seems stupid and a little naive. Howard is trying to stay on his side so he can stil have a chance at partial custody of the baby and a chunk of Annas change. Oh please Howard murdered Anna and Daniel!!!! Believe it!

He is going to be a wonderful father. I really hope he chooses to move her back here to Kentucky. She's have the best opportunity for a normal life.

Larry is a wonderful person and is going to be a great father. Howard is still a horrible person and all this "great guy I'm helping out" is a huge act because he knows he has lost and wants to at least redeem his image. If he though he even had 1% chance of keeping the baby he would never have been this "cooperative". His lawyer probably told him .,.. you have no chance .. now pretend to be a good guy.
Thank GOD this baby is with Larry .. she will at least have a chance to be a good person. She would have been a train wreck like her mother if Anna was still alive.

I noticed that too 11:15!! But since this isn't a Britney post, I wasn't going to bring it up...but I saw that and found it odd myself!

I give it two years before we hear that Larry has a coke habit, tried to commit suicide out of despairing for Anna Nicole, and the state has taken Dannielyn into protective custody. You know that's where this is all heading...a true, bona fide soap opera.

the reason y larry has not turned away howards help is because it makes him look like a good person anna nicole never liked her mum n he wants to bring her bak into dannielynns life...anna put ANOTHER guys name on the birth certificate so y would she be happy to see her with him this hole things fucked up and howard was the only 1 who

Um, Howard and Anna paraded the baby around plenty. Remember the exclusive hospital pics and interviews before Anna's death? Howard made very little of his money. When they were fighting over Anna's body he said she paid for everything for him. His parents have been paying for all of his legal fees.
He needs Dannielynn if he wants a chunk of the J. Howard Marshall money that she may inherit.
