All "Pleasure" No "Pain" Between Laura and Ben

Maybe it's just that time of the year, but after all the break-ups of 2006, it's so nice to see so many celeb couples actually looking happy together! Although they're not the likliest of couples (somehow Laura and Billy Bob seemed like a better fit), actress Laura Dern and musician Ben Harper still look very much in love after six and two children together.

I love Ben Harper. I met his parents and brother in CLaremont, and his brother again in Santa Barbara. He comes from a beautiful family. And his songs brought my fiance and I together.

Don't understand either such comments about skin color. Here are two people who find each other. No matter how WE perceive them. They look happy together. You should have the honesty to agree that it is dificult to find a good partner in life. Unfortunately, really great music and art seems to come from pain. His music is still great, but doesn't pull at the heartstrings and connect with our angst as much now, because he is happy, I suppose. So to say that the best isn't brought out in him is to say that he isn't miserable!
I think they're both awesome! His music is my favorite to listen to at home. It's laughable that anyone cares who they're with. It's just a picture of them getting coffee. Just be glad you don't have someone taking your picture when your out on some Sunday afternoon minding your own business!

I also think the best is not brought out in him, but not because he is no longer miserable. I don't think getting comfortable in the power structure of Hollywood sitting on your riches makes someone any less miserable. I just think he lost the struggle.
