Lauren Conrad: Master Scribe?
Posted on Thu Sep 11, 2008 01:55 PM PDT
Lauren Conrad has inked a deal with HarperCollins to write a three-book "young adult fiction series," according to People. The books will be loosely based on her life as a normal teen turned reality television "star." Young adult fiction? Sounds like something we already watch every Monday night on MTV!
LC tells People magazine, "The books are about a girl who moves to L.A. and stars in a reality show, so obviously there are some similarities. I'm not trying to do a fictional story based on all my friends in my real life because their stories aren't really mine to tell. Some of the characters may symbolize people in my life, but it is in no way calling anyone out."

YAWNNN...who in the hell would actually read this garbage?
Good for her. The companies recruiting her obviously know what they are doing and proves she has brains and beauty...life after The Hills. Don't hate.
Write a book?? Bitch probably hasn't even READ a book!!!
What an insult to actual talented authors who have been trying for ages to get a book deal.
I agree with Alexia. This is a complete mockery. What is Harper Collins thinking? Money, of course, but is anyone really going to buy this junk?
Sooooo sick of her!!!
